Sheraney Martis it is actually a retinoid and you would ether have to go to a dermatologist and get a prescription or they started selling a proactive with a retinoid in it called Adapalene. currently i use an adapalene cream but i got it from my dermatologist

For all the young girls watching this video..yes birth control pills helps w acne, headaches and lighter/shorter periods..BUT you are ingesting hormones which can make your periods irregular, make you gain weight and also mess w/ your emotions.they are different for everyone

I’m late but I think it’s worth saying, birth control could increase your growth. I don’t really know how to word it but basically it could cause your body to mature more rapidly, even if you’re fully past puberty.

How to get rid of acne:
DRINK WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY!
Use cruety free or vegan products to ensure you are putting natural ingredients on your face. Get a cleanser, moisturizer, toner, and exfoliator. In the morning use your cleanser and moisturizer (also wash fave after removing makeup) and at night use cleanser, toner. Exfoliate twice a week!

Good video. I am speaking from the perspective of a father of two daughters who recently just lost my oldest daughter. Birth control pills are not for everyone. The effects of the pill can range from nothing at all to death. In September of 2018, my 20 year old daughter passed away due to blood clots that were triggered by her use of a combination birth control pill. She was a junior in college and the only illness she had ever had was strep throat when she 3. The medical community will say that what happened to my daughter was extremely rare and that may be true. Nevertheless it did happen and it has happened to many other young women. Please exhaust all natural options before considering the birth control pill because it’s effects on a particular individual are virtually impossible to predict. Do not feel obligated to blindly accept the recommendations of your health care providers. Remember that it’s your health and possibly your life that’s at stake, not the pharmaceutical companies or the medical community. Please be careful, please be safe, and most of all please become informed.

When you have a bath during your period , the water doesn't turn red because the water's pressure pushes the blood backwards, but not to the point to where your blood is literally not coming out, but to where the flow isn't the heaviest but rather moves slowly.
Yeah the hot water helps with cramps, and Ibuprofen and it can help make the period lighter.

apparently getting enough sleep makes your period easier. I figured this out just this summer cause I just finished my junior year and during that time I was getting so little sleep and I was constantly stressed which always made my periods come late and they’d be heavy and painful. but once I got on summer break and was sleeping the right amount and generally carefree my periods actually got lighter and my cramps weren’t as bad. I just thought that was really cool and I WISH I could be getting enough sleep during the school year

I took birth control for about 4 years and recently stopped taking it last month and it makes such a difference in your menstrual cycle.
I have extremely dry skin + had acne in my 20s & 30s, not so much as a teen. I started taking BC late and it helped with it all. If I knew then, I would have been on BC much faster. I suffered, not only, with hormonal acne at a later age, but had bad period cramps and super heavy bleeding all throughout my teens (and I was quite regular).
What bc did you get on to help? Im 26 yrs old and have horrible cramping and acne.

Idk about the us or anywhere but if you live in the uk you don’t have to tell your parents, I’m 15 and I went to the docs today and got my own and my parents have no idea.
I thought it would be so awkward talking to my mom about it, and it still kinda is but it’s not NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be. I suggest bringing it up with your mom, and then bringing it up with a doctor during a checkup! They’ll probably ask why you want it, and all you have to do is explain your situation! They’re prescribe it to you, no strings attached. Good luck!!
