Thank you for the awesome tutorial. Also, what is the next step to paint it in Substance?? you create UVs for this high poly model, or you create low poly and make UV for it? If you use low poly, I am not sure that holes will appear in the Substance.
Hey mike!! thanks for your tutorials i have learnt a lot from you.Quick question! can you make a tutorial on how to animate a weaving(wicker) such as this one please :-) ive been wondering how a wicker such as this can be animated growing the patch randomly I know there are tutorials out there on this for cinema 4d and Houdini i havent seen any for maya as always thank you!!
If we wanted to wrap the "fence" arround another polygon in order to create a basket is there an easy way to do it or do we have to do it by chosing verteces and moving them along the basket?
Hi i would like to ask you a quick question, how do i identify a custom attribute added to a controller? i am always watching your tutorials thanks for posting them.

Search my playlists for "alpha images" or check my basketball net video
thank you!
You could always use lattices and the deform "curve" tool.
thank you!
You are very welcome
nice video
I can't seem to be able to shift select the curve after selecting the faces. I can select it in object mode, but not face mode. Any suggestions?
Rachel, you need to select the faces first ( in face mode ) and then shift select the curve in object mode
@@MHTutorials3D Thx >_ < !! I wondered about this either !
full video please
this is really helpful, but i just wanted to know if there is any option to model these things in 'low poly' ?
Not really, that would involve adding a normal map to a low poly model
+Mike Hermes okay, thank you. ;)
