@@JaydenWong I find the sapphire reserve to be quite good. The sapphire lounge at JFK and HKG are both pretty nice (not as nice as the Cathay Wing First), great bonus point earning for travel and food, and it’s VISA so more places accommodate it.

Mum's apartment is relatively big for HK, I'm currently staying there and it's hard to get used to it after living in a big house in Adelaide 🤣 Yes growing up, when I was shorter, I hated the crowds. Now I am loving it LOL! The upper deck of the Star Ferry has ac but only during the summer months, this was back in April (spring). I can confirm all the windows are shut now and people get told off by the seamen for opening the windows for photos/videos 🤣 Nope didn't know about the purpose of the Maori Haka but that makes perfect sense!
I've flown short haul in asia twice now once from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong on Eva Air and 2nd on shanghai airlines from Incheon to Shanghai (reviews on my channel) The service is impeccable. Hot meal included and great service. Meanwhile ANZ on their short haul trans tasman and to the pacific you're lucky to get a cup of tea and a biscuit for a meal you have to select works option when booking. Great review :)

I couldn't find any informations from their website except that the economy class ticket can only carry one piece of carry-on baggage which shall not exceed 10 kg.

It was only a rumour but who knows. I think it's unlikely for airline operational reasons (1) Mainland carriers like China Southern and China Eastern get a lot of HK pax flying from Hong Kong via their Beijing & Shanghai hubs to Europe. The transit process right now is like going through Dubai or Doha- no immigration. If they bring in pre-clearance, the HK-Mainland flight will operate like a domestic flight and people going to Europe will then have to ensure they have a Chinese visa PLUS go through immigration process in Beijing/Shanghai again. (2) More likely CX and oneworld will stay in T1 (they have so many lounges there). And probably Star Alliance and Skyteam will move to T2. This probably explains why they are reluctant to reopen their lounges/ or renovate them because they know they will move (United Club and Thai still closed since covid, Singapore Airlines lounge is very old) (3) Now if you combine reasons (1) & (2), should CX flights to mainland depart from T1 or T2? And connecting pax will have to change terminals? Nah people will hate it and airlines and the airport know

And how about for the passengers board in Canada to connect to 3US carriers such as United, Delta or AA on their respective hubs like Chicago, Newark, DFW, Atlanta? Because after they clear the US Immigration during they departure in Canadian Airports, their transborder flight is considered as a domestic flight so i think they must clear TSA checks again at the US airport when transiting.

In some cases, when people transiting in SG with a long layover, they usually visit the Jewel (because Jewel is located on the public area) or they can have a shopping or having a city tour first before connecting to other flight even though they have an onward ticket without claiming their baggage & re-check again.

yep you can :) It’s a full service so personal bags is absolutely fine. Many people on my flights had a carry on plus 2 bags😂

个人觉得吉祥航空是中国国内最有国际航空公司感觉的一家公司。他们的工作人员和客舱细节都比较符合国际标准。中国国内其他航空公司则没有吉祥航空那么用心。
