Randy, Ive been Bass Fishing for over 60 years. The number new lures/options, multiple plastics types of new techniques, colors and hooks can be very overwhelming. I have to concentrate on just a few baits/methods that work in my area of NE Oklahoma. We don’t normally have 3-4’+ water visibility. So, I adjust accordingly. That said, I really appreciate all of your video’s showing all of these new options. It’s really cool! Thanks!!
these baits with all these extra moving parts tend to scare me to me it’s just another piece that has to be maintained and tuned or itll mess the action up it break but i’ve never seen this one before

I agree. I throw the same stuff I’ve thrown for 25 years and still do fine
Agreed! I'm 49 and I still can't believe how much tackle and lures there are now. I practically have a seizure buying tackle. It's nuts! 🤣
Thanks for the lesson Randy, I'd hang in there for a deep dive on spybaits if you ever wanted to do one.
Found them to work well on the edges of reed beds after a front shut them down in 5-8 fow.
Randy, thank you I hope to know the lakes like you do one day good luck buddy
Randy, can you make a video on the rising water levels of Lake Mead? Thanks
Got 3 never caught a fish on them hopefully I learn something
I bought my first two spy baits this year, 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🫣
Would a loop knot improve the action?

Just curious, why does having a mixed species in a lake make the spybait work? If your lake is a single species lake, will it not work?
Why 6 pound test if Flouro is invisible?
I think anything over 8lb test would probably kill the action of this particular lure. Just a guess?
Reduces the subtle action.
Why do you never mention Smith Mountain Lake ? It’s a clear lake with largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass, to say nothing of striped bass.
