Penn Stater here. I would love FSU in the B1G but support wherever you go. I just want to say that I hope EVERY board and president fight as hard for the academics and athletics at their schools as the leaders at FSU are doing right now. I look at schools like Utah that are taking a "trust the process" approach and they're going to end up back in the Mountain West if they're not careful.
Prefer the BIG10 my wife’s from PA and we can take a short trip to Tally and she can see Penn state.

I wish they could save the ACC because I am a fan of tradition, but I think this grant of rights deal the ACC signed with ESPN in 2017 basically made that impossible.

You can tell he’s very passionate about getting us into the best position possible. Also interesting to hear the GOR is not what would keep us from taking action after answering about having a good grasp of the GOR. That’s good to hear because all the negative talking points against us just point that the GOR is ironclad and the reason we’ll never get out.
Then why not challenge it and move ASAP?
Also, why would any conference want you if you're so willing to break contracts and go to whoever for the biggest payday. Today its the B1G. Then they will break that contract and go to the SEC.
"Go Noles" means something different today than it has in the past. It will continue to do so until the ACC is in our rearview mirror. . . GO NOLES!

Not an FSU fan but another ACC competitor...Just a dang good job by Mr. Collins. He did a fantastic job of showing empathy with the others while eloquently pointing out FSU's (and all other ACC teams) predicament.

Like he said, "I'd like to stay local but $ is more important". I'm paraphrasing here but FSU is headed to the B10.
Besides, Florida would never allow FSU into the SEC where B10 would love to have the Seminole's. Its nice to be wanted.

Missouri didn’t bring to the table what Florida State does…so although I agree Missouri embarrassed themselves campaigning for a Big Ten invite, I don’t think he was doing that and I’m not sure it would matter. Frankly, with the way Disney has been acting in response to your Governor and the legislature, I think FSU bolting to the Big Ten instead of going to SEC would be kind of funny. As an OSU fan, I’d certainly love another crack at FSU after the beatdown we got in the Sugar Bowl and dropping one at home to you all back when I was a little kid.
I wish we weren't losing capacity at stadium can't we do both keep capacity up and add high dollars ticketing options ?

If he did he wouldn’t need to do a podcast to try and grab headlines. This isn’t how expansion is done it’s quiet and happens behind the scenes. Fox can’t take them now to much risk of espn lawsuits

I wish the ACC could be saved, but this grant-of-rights deal they foolishly signed in 2017 basically doomed them. If I had my way I would realign all the conferences regionally and only the ACC and SEC would overlap each other.
FSU sounds very similar to a lot of current Big12 schools. ESPN & Fox have really screwed things up
Yes, it's not about conferences or regions. There are already only two major conferences in college football. They are ESPN and Fox.
It's time the ACC let FSU pay their 500 million and let them go.

Hopefully, this is a smokescreen about the fact(Big10) and that they are in fact going to the SEC. FSU & Clemson fit much better in the SEC especially Clemson and their history of being in the Southern conference.
No better way to lose any change of a big 10 invite than publicly pitching yourself and making headlines. Ask mizzou how that worked also espn will fight you if you leave to the big 10
