Anyone who thinks FSU should join the SEC does not have a clear vision based on extensive research. The Big Ten is the best solution if we can get in there along with Clemson, Miami, and North Carolina.
Geographically B10 is a nitemare! SEC makes the most sense in any realistic scenario. To many people are making this like it's a wwe match. FSU vs espn/sec. Now if we have no other choice than B10. We take it... but to pretend the SEC isn't the most ideal landing spot is crazy.
@jmaverick9337 not true. Simply not true. The Big 10 can simply make two divisions (which you likely have to do when you have that many teams in one conference). FSU already travels to Syracuse, Boston College, and Pitt. So, going to that general area to play Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, Rutgers, is not a big deal. Additionally if Clemson, Miami, and either NC or UVA join along with them, those are teams we travel to as well. Traveling is not an issue...FSU is traveling to Ireland in a couple of weeks. Lastly, if FSU wants to earn the additional 35miliion these other Big 10 and SEC are receiving, traveling a little more an extra game is well worth it. What is not worth it is joining a conference that has ROUTINELY try to cut off your legs out of fear you would dominate their teams if allowed to rejuvenate.
I don't get the notion that FSU fans believe that FSU has a choice where it gets invited to, if anywhere. The Big 10 is at 18 schools and waiting on Notre Dame to decide. If the SEC wants to match that 18, which it don't have to, they would try to add UNC/UVA. Greg Sankey keeps saying "only contiguous states." UNC has always been #1 on the SEC's most wanted list in the ACC. Check those egos amigos! WDE!

They are thinking more holistically for the future (as they keep saying.) SEC wants to spread it's footprint, and that's not open to debate. Why would the teams in the Big 10 or SEC take a pay cut to add FSU or Clemson? Notre Dame is another story. I do believe that FSU and Clemson will get into the power 2, but after current media rights ends.
Why do you think they would take a pay cut. Just like with Tx and OU were added. They can renegotiate the contract as a whole. Just read any of the contracts for Big10 and or SEC
