Pf track is also good. 3d equaliser is kinda hard for me but now i am trying to learn this.
PFtrack is ok, I don't use it much as 3Dequalizer is so much better, most vfx companies use 3Dequalizer and prefer you to know it, having 3dequalizer skillset will definitely help you get into a matchmove job
i have plenty of free tutorials that will help you learn 3dequalizer and loads of footage for your show reel to use :)

hi Josh, is there a way in 3dequalizer to see f5/lineup in realtime? something like playblast in Maya. Because I have a lot of problems with 3d object sliding or jittering but I cant be able to see until maya.
hey, yeah you should be able to view you footage at realtime or as close to, depending on your pc spec.
have you exported your buffer compression file?
@@VFXTutors yeah I've exported and imported but my 3d model has 5mill of polys and in f5 lineup mode I cant see anything at realtime, is because of that my question

What did you make the geo in?
@@VFXTutors hehe, the geo is already decimated, I did in realitt capture and then zbrush.
But, isn't it a way to preview at realtime in the lineup window as for example maya playblast, because is so difficult to see a little errors in the tracking if not
@@StudioArj you should be able to play through your timeline with space bar, if it’s too slow you might need to decimate again.
But if it’s still not working, you can hide 3d model in f5 and just view the 3d points, as these should be on your geo anyway
But how to we really track with absolutely no data? Not even the drone this was shot on.
