Hey nice build! I am very happy to see someone who actually holds up the gpu when screwing in.... very many times I have seen people who don't. As for the sag bracket, it isn't my favorite, it can cause strain on the motherboard but that gpu is quite light and everything is properly screwed in, it will probably be fine
When I install graphics cards I always lay my PC on the side to prevent GPU sag in the first place. Then obviously use support bracket :) Have fun with it ! I am a lil bit jealous
I would suggest using 2 seperate PCIE cables from the PSU, Not using the one which is extended from the main one. I just killed /burned my RTX 3080 FE and my mobo after doing the same and it working perfectly for 3 years Try to do a bit research on that, "Daisy Chain GPU cables"

I think it depends on how much you value aesthetics lol Don't get me wrong! This thing is amazing and I haven't had any issues, but if you aren't totally committed to the white aesthetic you might find something a little cheaper that is just as good. Otherwise, it is a beauty and it runs like a dream 😋
Honestly, wait for the SUPER series to come out so price cuts come into effect, or go AMD and buy a 7900XT which has better performance and more VRAM for I think the same price.

Great video, love the athmosphere! Wish everybody had this kind of christmas gift. Anyways, the point is I'm gonna be doing my own review after purchasing the RTX 4070 FE (nobody cares, but it's just for my own practice to not be camera shy, etc.), but the thing is I've never done any type of editing. What would you recommend in terms of editing software? P.S. I've got an iPhone 12 mini in my arsenal.

TH-cam is an awesome way to get comfortable in front of a camera, I'm working on it too 😄 I use the free version of Davinci Resolve for editing on PC, I highly recommend downoading it and watching the video classes they have on their website. 🙂

It actually doesn't, but I was talking to a friend and it sounds like Cable Mods is a good place to pick one up. I'm thinking of doing that for mine, hope that helps!

For me it was still worth it since I needed it quickly, I've been using it since a few months before I actually uploaded this video. On the other hand I haven't heard about the announcement but it is always a bit annoying when something better gets released shortly after buying something lol 😅
Completely agree, which is why I'm going to be patient and wait for battlemage instead from Intel as I suspect they will either keep the 16GB VRAM Buffer or increase it to 20GB+ for less or roughly the same price as your 4070TI. You can always try sell your current card and go with battlemage too in Q2 2024 when they release if you'd prefer to do that.@@Kylink

I don't doubt that you're right. I think it's hard picking PC parts in general especially for a beginner, there's a lot of tutorials out there but even among experts there's many different preferences and opinions. You can't really see how your unique combination of parts will run until you build it.
@Kylink 100% man, nividia has great cards but it hurts seeing ppl disregard amd when buying a gpu, u can get same or better performance on a amd gpu for a smaller price, rlly helps ppl who can't spend alot of pc.

Is the sag bracket not enough for it? If it would be better I would maybe mount it vertically. I have heard some people say that can cause some issues too, I'm not sure how true that is though.
@@Kylinkno you should be fine, gpu sag is a bit of an overhyped issue, it only really leads to damage when you move your pc (picking it up and putting it down to hard for example). If you’re really worried about it you can try unscrew the bracket and see if it is actually pulling the card up and decreasing tension on the pcie slot. If it is you should be perfectly fine.

Namely, the slot, especially if it's a non-reinforced one, can cause the slot to bend or warp over time." Gigabyte is notorious for GPU sag issues and cards breaking over time due to their soft PCB design. Maybe they fixed it a bit for the 40 series, but sag is not overhyped. It's a real issue, just might not seem like one for a bit. Until your PC shows no display and notice your GPU is drooping noticeably more than it was 2 years ago.

Newegg and PC Part Picker are both really helpful websites when making sure everything is compatible, then when you have something you like, show it to someone who has some experience to see if they have any recommendations. There's some really helpful videos on Newegg too on the PC Builder page. 🙂
@@Kylink I can get a Rx 7900 xt over in the UK for £700-£800 used from a chain of shops called cex and Its for gaming btw because I have a 4k monitor and I only have an rtx 3050 and core i3 12th Gen CPU at the moment because that's all I could afford 2 years ago now and btw if you're wallet hurts then maybe u should have done what I did and looked for a used GPU btw the 4k monitor i have is a gigabyte m32u it was £700 at the time of purchase and my pc was £700 when i got it 2 years ago
Lol you might be right! I've heard varying opinions but this is my first custom PC, so next time I'll know about more details like how necessary is NVENC etc and I'll come to my own conclusion, either way in this situation with my current build and the advice of close friends I'm very happy with this GPU.
@@Kylink Honestly, NVidia if you really need that boost in video rendering but AMD has H.265 so it's also very good. AMD for VRAM and non raytracing but they do very well in raytracing now especially with the 7000 series and the new FSR3 that's came out also if you're on a budget.

Just make you sure you use 2 PCIE cables instead of one which has 2 ends on side

I think Christmas should've been late instead so you would've gotten a 4070 Ti Super with 16gb of vram, now the 4070 ti is at super trash tier value.

That GPU sag is so damn scary especially for a gigabyte GPU. Just buy a GPU stand for your own sake.
