Working as a jet aircraft mechanic for over 30 years I realized that the noise level associated with them was a real physical energy zapper. You mentioned how tiring you get driving truck, maybe the noise associated with this work is draining you? The enjoyment level of this video was a perfect 10! You guys rock!
You folks work like a well-oiled machine. Great team work and cooperation. You keep at it until the job is done, and done well. Like any successful farm family. Keep up the good work and may you be blessed.
Hey Arces of Clay Family!👋 I see McKenzie was back in her truck! She probably happy for that! Didn't know y'all had two Volvo's and trailer's , I thought there was only one and then the straight truck! Have a great week ahead and Be safe and Blessed! 😆❤❤👍
One. Thing is. For sure. Always. Something. To do. On the farm. . never a dull. Moment . watching ur. Vidios. Is soothing. . love watchin. . have a great day. .god bless ur. Family. . .
When I have emotional stress added to a full plate of trying balance the myriad of things that are involved with just my normal daily life, I get more physically tired than if I had been splitting firewood all day. God didn’t intend for anyone to be a super hero all of the time. 🙏 for a good harvest.
We all talk to are self.. Must of my talking to my self. Is Talking to GOD. for his teaching me the right way on my Life.... Iam so glad I can in joy seeing you guys on the Farm... I just talk to my sister to night. About the farm. And how much we in joyed it. I got KICK off John Deere from. Playing in a DEEP mud hole.. Went around and around. Made a Big hole. 9445 in think that the size . of the John Deere.. But I told my wife Maria about your farm Rhonda. I show her when Maria is not doing anything. Your videos. love you guts. God bless you and BEST farm and . Take care can't wait to see your next videos 🙄😻
Love your videos. Love the drone shots too. So glad to see Kenzie got her Freight Shaker back again. She really didn’t seem to like driving the Volvo in the last video. God bless you and your hard working family.
Man you have a busy time schedule!... One day Kevin is going to wish he carried a cell phone... Treat every job as a challenge...thanks 4 video. be kind.
Over here in New Zealand we are about to spray out some existing pasture for cultivation and planting of maize for silage. We are planting 55 acres (out of 570) and this will help feed our herd of 550 milking cows through next autumn and winter. It's great watching how farmers operate in different parts of the world. Especially a real family farm. My son and I both work on my brother's dairy farm here.
Farmers have their own way of how to do things cuz they do it everyday, except when it comes to harvest but they always come through. Rhonda, thank you very much for the videos. Take care young people
Mackenzie you did awesome driving the Volvo home from the dealer, I don't know why you got so scared when you where pulling the trailer you did amazing, I think it's time for you to step into the forage harvester. I think Mackenzie could master the chopper like her parents.
We enjoy your videos. I can see where Kenzie and Rhonda are related. . . . no kidding. When Rhonda was following the chopper into the field, Rhonda was thinking out loud. It reminded us of Kenzie getting into the Volvo with the trailer. We enjoyed that. You people are "natural" in front of a camera. Be safe and keep on "keeping on".
The previous video of you teaching your daughter to drive the semi was so great. She really got frustrated but you were real good teaching . My advice is to tell her not to try and rush the shifting. All she needs is to be calmer and gain a little confidence. Great job.
I agree that driving a big truck or farm machinery is stressful and tiring. Lots to watch out for and focus on. Don't want to make costly mistakes. Good Video!!!😊 Always enjoy them!
Rhonda, take 1 hour a month on a day it's raining, grocery shopping to get a massage. It will re-energize your body and bring you back to your center. It will be something you look forward to. The massage will add years back on your life too. It could also benefit your whole family if they were to get a massage too. I know McKenzie would enjoy being pampered with a massage. It also helps with muscle stress. It is worth the money.
Farming goes hand in hand with the weather more so here in Ireland with all the rain we get. You can get an app for your phones CB TALK lets you use your phones as cb radios. Imagine the fun you would have with Mackenzie on it!!!!!!!!
It's this time of year I really start to get depressed! Just miss it so much, except for one thing did not like playing in the mud when it rained a lot. Your video's give me a chance to smile again
Harvest time is extremely stressful & dangeroue. Long hours, fatigue, sometimes miserable conditions. Some of the worst farm accidents happen at this time. I'm not going to offer any of the usual verbal platitudes. Be careful out there, guys & gals. Be adults. You know the rules. You know the procedures. That machine doesn't care if it's grinding up plant material or human anatomy. My dad's favorite saying was, "The good Lord gave us brains to figure out easier ways of doing things!" I'm going to add the word, "safer" to "easier". 🤔
Great video! Always enjoy your Fall harvest videos. Like the drone footage. Yes, I agree riding around in those bouncy big trucks can get tiring. Funny I work for a smaller family-owned garbage company + we use cell phones + texting (of course stopped) for all of our communication too! We don't have CB radios in any of our trucks.
Thank you, Ronda, for taking us along by way of your awesome video(s)! I still love how you fill information gaps with narration, or now & then, with some on-screen text. 👍 God bless y'all; still praying for you, Kevin and your children.
Great footage of an always exciting time, I'd look forward to this time every year, but you're right, it can wear on you scrambling as fast and hard as you can, I'm always amazed at how well that bucket tractor pushes the silage up, looks too small but does a great job, wonderful video Rhonda, the drone shots also
When my son first started hauling in when we was chopping Corn there was only one hand Signal he would understand and it was not a good one lol but he caught on by the end .
Good morning, Rhonda and happy Sunday!😊😊😊😊😊😎☀. The field is so beautiful and fresh like a baseball field from the movie "Field of Dreams." Someone says, "If you build it, he will come."💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙. Also, I love your outfit of the day and it says, "One for the Road." It's beautiful!💖💖💖💖💖💖. Plus, Fall is coming on Wednesday🍂 and it starts at 3:20 pm, with the leaves changing colors when the temperature drops. So...yeah. Have fun chopping the fields and enjoy the beautiful weather.😊😙💙💙💙💙💙💖💖💖💖💖💖😊😎☀⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍
The 2 way radios are the best thing for farming there is zero downsides. Hand signals can be misunderstood and when you are up close with big tractors and big trucks it's a life saver. We had a baler blow a bearing and a few more seconds and it would have went up and a quick yell over the radio saved that old baler and I put it out with a few water bottles
Silage corn looks like fun u remember Paul Harvey he was a radio personality at WGN Chicago had appreciation for farmers he ask the ? He asked the ? U know what a farmer is? He is man that produces $$$$$$$ from the mud ….. keep up the good work
Harvest is like eating an elephant,.....one bite at a time!!! I do not know too much about them, but it seems like more and more farmers are using 2-way radios instead of CB radios. It seems like Midland 2-way radios are the most preferred. The only drawback that I have heard, is that the speaker is mounted on the bottom, and when farmers mount them in their equipment, the speaker is usually facing against some sort of surface and the sound can get muffled. Some farmers have hooked up external speakers to help.
Every load of corn that you load young lady is probably worth $2,500 to $3,000 give me the price of corn on it is today so you figure it out go get your groceries some other time and do your laundry some other time or hire somebody to do your laundry it's more important to get the corn off and get it into the feed box to feed your cattle
Rhonda great video on chopping really enjoyed it was great thank you for sharing and your time I watch another video they have a dairy also called farming with duffy ag. It is great also Rhonda stay blessed you and the family just great.
I know what you mean Rhonda when you say that you are tired. I worked at a feedyard for 6 years and I ran a chopper. Running one of those for 12 hours a day 6 days a week I got pretty tired.
Great video . . . love channels who don't manufacture content. Loved the drone clip at the end, I was wondering how you got the corn into the truck on that first run through the corn . . . over the top of the cab. Cheers.
Hello Rhonda, If you're ever in a bind I live about 20 minutes from you and would help you guys out. Love the video's keep up the good work and god bless and stay safe.
Tarspot can reduce corn crops. a fungicide called Trivapro will reduce the Tarspot to a better corn plant. Storms can spread the Tarspot spores from field tp field making the fungus grow significantly. I am a horticulturist and know this information. Just thought i would help you out. Your fields look great other than that. Happy harvest and GOD bless
I agree with you, chopping corn silage is a tiring job after about a week. I don't think l would like working on a custom crew doing it for a month or more.
Good morning ,. Have a nice day.
Alway impressed with this wonderful family, working together, always a smile, no matter the farm task.
You still go girl because you can do it. I believe in you
Sanders said he thought he stopped the truck, when he reached out the window to pull some corn. Good one.
That's why , I don't need a TV Set.
I have ...You and some other Clips to watch.
No News or Fake News.
Super Clip!
Thank you, AoCH !

Yes Rhonda, you have a full plate even before the truck driving. Great videos!
Perfect example of how a family farm operation should be. This family is absolutely amazing how they work so well together .
Hey Arces of Clay Family!👋 I see McKenzie was back in her truck! She probably happy for that! Didn't know y'all had two Volvo's and trailer's , I thought there was only one and then the straight truck! Have a great week ahead and Be safe and Blessed! 😆❤❤👍
we all talk to are self from time to time
Thank you for the video , enjoy watching you and your family on the farm .Its ok to talk to yourself aslong you don't answer yourself.
Hope u get it all harvested before the rain 🌧️ hits you 🙄 great family farm video again 👍

Always like the fall chopper sound!

Enjoyed the video. Have not seen much of the two older boys. Youngsters driving trucks is fun. Thanks.
Quite a operation there, trucks lined up like an assembly line.Mr. Sanders always has a pleasant smile, that's very nice to see, this day and age.
Good Afternoon from South Africa.

Oh I so understand about passing on the fall garden!!! Working on a farm is hard work, and it never stops!!! Nice looking silage hills!!
Sometimes you just have to say no to things, so you don't wear yourself down.
Farmers have their own way of how to do things cuz they do it everyday, except when it comes to harvest but they always come through. Rhonda, thank you very much for the videos. Take care young people
This is so true! Every farm is different, but that's what makes us all unique. 😊
Mackenzie you did awesome driving the Volvo home from the dealer, I don't know why you got so scared when you where pulling the trailer you did amazing, I think it's time for you to step into the forage harvester.
I think Mackenzie could master the chopper like her parents.
She was nervous because the load would be heavier and she needed to be more careful while dumping so the trailer wouldn't tip over.
@@acresofclayhomestead yeah I can see the trailer being top heavy, do you still have the Mack ch613?
Great video!!! You’re doing great!!!

Always enjoy watching.
Hi 👋🏽 families what beautiful drone fields look 👀 awesome and as always you and your families all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hi Ronda. We are doing the same thing today and for a few more days...
Safe harvest for you!!
Love your videos and appreciate the time you take to explain what you’re doing in a way I can understand.
I don't know why but i really enjoy you getting corn off 😂 Great vid love the drone footage

All of MI has tar spot this year including ours. Making the corn dry down fast.

Yes and thank you!!
Great vidja Rhonda. Know what you mean about getting tired of driving. Y'all take care and have a blessed week and I'll see you on your next vidja.
Great job Everybody, glad to see that Ye are getting it done in good conditions, because it was a fight for Ye in the wet a couple of years ago:):)
Definitely takes a lot ofoving parts working together to keep the farm running.
Belle vidéo merci beaucoup.
Looks like a nice pile of corn 🌽 silage like 👍 the video’s
Spaying fungeside….!
Hello Randa..have a good day..and wish you success..this harvest and video was fun..greetings
Keep up the great job i.enjoy watching reminds me of the time i harvest hay and what not
It looks like your corn sometimes had stress with the dryness.
Greetings from Germany
It's great that everyone is on the same playing field, to back the country has no common sense to work together great video enjoyed very much
Always have to deal with Issues around Farm including Disease. Sanders has Hollywood Smile. 😬
Yeah rain is coming ch 8 said possibly a thunderstorm Tuesday morning and 60 for the high I think Thursday . Stay safe
It's going to feel cold!! 🥶
Why are you not putting a blade on your big tractor to push the silage up ?? That would also pack it down better …. Just was wondering.

So much work. I am glad that you had help. I was wondering, when you take out feed, are you able to take out the oldest stuff first??????
Yes, we always use the oldest up first.
Very nice Volvo from Sweden!
I don't blame him, I always hated washing the parlor. I had to do it with a bucket and brush. That and cleaning fence line was the worst.
Rhonda great video on chopping really enjoyed it was great thank you for sharing and your time I watch another video they have a dairy also called farming with duffy ag. It is great also Rhonda stay blessed you and the family just great.

Really good to see you. I agree about McKenzie & the CB radios. It would certainly be fun to listen to however
Lol 😆
Who runs the drone when are driving?
Ask Kevin to explain what the white cone bottom tank on the side of the chopper is for.
Great video . . . love channels who don't manufacture content. Loved the drone clip at the end, I was wondering how you got the corn into the truck on that first run through the corn . . . over the top of the cab. Cheers.
