The MITB briefcase being put on the line in any match is beyond stupid.
WHY would anyone ever did that? There is nothing to gain.
Glad you guys didn't agree with Breakker losing clean, it really kinda put a damper on the PLE for me. I am not even a big Breakker fan, but the idea that Sami is somehow an underdog still is starting to get a bit ridiculous. XD He headlined Mania, ended the longest running Intercontinental champion of all time, and now defeated the new blood guy that is killing everyone in 2 seconds flat on tv each week, after a build up of him just smerking at Breakker saying that he isn't scary in promos. Even Sami must see that this has really damaged the mystic around Bronn, even if (if not especially) they run it back next month.
thats like saying aj styles couldnt beat sayn sami is the ultimate underdog
@@antoineLebrane Really sorry, I am not sure what you mean.
@@VeggieGamer it dosent damage bron we all knew he was loosing going into the show
@@antoineLebrane Oh ok thanks for the clarification! It isn't the fact he lost (although I have to admit, I did have him winning in my predictions XD). It was the fact he lost clean. This is the topic Raj and Matt discuss here and what my comment was referring to. 🙂 And I would argue Bron's first lose needed to be handled better, as Sami winning clean not only pushes him down, but everyone he beat in 2 minutes flat on Raw. I hope that makes sense!
@@VeggieGamer or does that tell you how strong sami is as a character and a wrestler ?
Cena said 30/40 dates, not matches
I am kind of hoping Heyman returns at Summerslam. Have Haymen reunite the Usos along with Roman and have Lesner return to fight the bloodline for what they did to Paul. You have Roman/Solo, Usos/Tongans Lesner/Fatu. Could even incorporate Punk in it down the line.
I’m glad I found Raj and Matt again!
The last 2 MITB chases sucked shit for the most part. I’m glad we have a break.
We knew LA Knight wasn’t going to be champ when he didn’t get moved to Raw.
Eli Drake is too old for them to build a brand around. He’s like 40 & can’t go in the ring like he used to. His prime was spent in IMPACT
@@marcbasilhe’s younger than Damien Priest
@@secularbelt who should absolutely not be getting pushed. However, they’re pushing him because he’s aligned with the Hispanics demo, no other reason. Eli is way over, but he has a short shelf life. This regime clearly values meticulous, long term booking
@@marcbasil he absolutely should be world heavyweight champion
We Love Da Gigantic Pop!! 👍🙏
I think Bron should have won. That said, HHH is clearly not going to have anyone go undefeated. And that’s not a bad thing
Solid Show Matt
I haven’t watched these guys since 2020 that’s crazy
The ticket prices for the show here in Toronto were crazy expensive. WWE has put there prices way to high
Totally agree about Breakker losing clean, made no sense. Why not do a DQ that protects both guys and do a rematch at a later show? And is Punk still the face in this situation? It's a toss-up to me at this point
One loss isn’t the end of the world. You guys need to understand that.
@@secularbeltwe’ve seen time and again big heels lose steam with clean loses. It doesn’t hurt truly top guys who have earned their way up. Bron isn’t a top guy yet who can walk that off. It requires more work on the back end to regain that momentum, even if it’s a little.
Only thing good last night was Tiffy time
Yes break the record
i loved the women's money in the bank match chelsie green was great in match the men's one was good triple h dropped the ball big time in bron breaker losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smh i liked the interaction with tiffany and trish i loved that solo sikoa pinning cody rhodes i loved that cm punk screwed drew mcintyre again
MITB this year was a great example that sometimes, predictability works. Sure, you could see the Drew screwjob coming a mile away but I wanted to see it.. it's what they set the table for. Perfectly sets up Summerslam, and gives their feud even more heat than it already had. I just want to know if Punk got his bracelet back. Kind of surprised we didn't see Roman at the end though.
Yes, sometimes predictability and wrestling works. I.e. when I was a little little kid would go to the Hartford Colosseum in Madison Square Garden multiple times every year and always knew one thing was for sure: Hulk Hogan was going to hook up at the end of the match and whip everybody’s ass, no matter who it was. In fact, my family paid good money for that predictability. With that said, you still could’ve told the same predictable story with punk continuing to cock block Drew from the title as Drew was scaling the ladder to get the briefcase. You could’ve done it there while at the same time add another layer that LA Knoght needs right now desperately.
@@mattmorgan2534 I get that. Going into the MITB match, I was conflicted, because I really wanted LA Knight to win (big Eli Drake mark). He's only got so much time, and if he's gonna win a World title, it's gonna have to happen soon. However.. having Drew win the case and then lose his cash-in because of Punk just has so much more meat on the bone.. I rly think it was a worthwhile sacrifice to LA in order to tell that story and make it more impactful. I can def see it your way as well, but in the end, I just think this was the better way to do it. But hell, I'm just a fan, respect your opinion on it Matt, probably more than my own lol. I could accept being wrong on this one. Been wanting them to strap a jetpack on LA since he got there, so I definitely hear where you're coming from.
@@ChrisWooton23gotcha 👍
@@ChrisWooton23 youre not wrong i like matt but hes in his feelings
Bloodline vs Bloodline war games
Hey Matt, was the 2014 Royal Rumble return planned months in advanced or was it offered to you weeks before the event?
Can only imagine the feuds and matches you could have had going into WrestleMania 30.
Matt
Back in the day you can have a match with Andre the Giant or Taker who you picking?
Cena is saying he doesn’t juice? Lmao
Them having the failed cash in makes the most sense. Cody isn’t losing that belt anytime soon and we all know Gunther is probably winning at SS and he won’t lose for a while either. It created more long-term story bcuz Punk not only costed Drew, he made it so Seth can’t challenge for the belt as long as Priest has it as well. Now Punk has to look over both shoulders.
@@joshalston exactly thats what i tried to explain to Matt
Worst part of MIB was the Rock segment. Dude hiding behind the fact that he got booed out the building for trying to take someone else’s spot.
@@TheBlackDoe sir you know how goofy you sound when the rock was consistently gettin the biggest crowd reactions in the build to wrestlemania he only got booed when he wasnt in the building so cut it out
@@TheBlackDoe this comment is being a mark at its best🤦🏾♂️
I knew the Rock’s groupies would have a problem with my comment 🤷♂️😂
@@TheBlackDoe millions of people are rock groupies cornball hes one of the GOATS ,just cuz you a mark dont mean yo opinion means anything
@@antoineLebraneI was simply stating my own opinion. If it doesn’t mean anything, stop replying to it.
P.S. the Rock will get booed vs Roman too.
I don't really consider Canada or at least Toronto as international.
You might wanted to study a map
@secularbelt yes I know it's international but Toronto is very American and many of our acting and music stars come from Canada. It's a french/english but the one's that speak english don't have accents unlike UK or Australia/New Zealand. And many tv/movies shoot in Canada doubling for American cities. But you knew what I meant but you wanted to be that guy.
If they give cena #17 I do,"not see it being Cody taking pin.

matt morgan you gotta stop hunter is doing LONG TERM BOOKING the briefcase was used to further the storyline between punk and mcintyre la knight did not need this briefcase neither did carmelo or jey uso ,you gotta stop looking at things short term
With respect, brother, you’ve never been in the business a day in your life, so when you’re trying to tell a performer professional wrestler to look at long-term storylines, get in line!! We’re the ones I’ve been telling you fans that for the last three decades Because of your microwave, short attention span and needing delivery right away on everything that hurt this business quite frankly for the last decade before this last iteration of Wwe generation we received today under Hunter. Please explain to me with what you just said, how CM punk screwing Drew as is about to climb that ladder and get that Briefcase, would be any different from him screwing him any other time that we’ve seen so far in this storyline? Is it any different? It still gets the same job done in the storyline vernacular and storyline arc. But you spread the love to somebody like LA night that they are dropping the ball with every single week. By now, Night should be in that role that we see Damien Priest in currently quite frankly.
@@mattmorgan2534 okay well with respect to you matt thats an easy question to answer first off i love la knight i love everybody in the match as a matter of fact,NOBODY is winning the world title except Gunther at Summerslam ,La knight has a feud with Logan Paul for the U.S. title coming up,Carmelo Hayes isnt ready,Andrade aint it right now and Jey Uso is gonna be entering this bloodline story so let me break it down for you sir,CM punk literally said Drew will never will win the world title as long as hes around thats why you screw Drew out of the world title not the money in the bank briefcase ,if im your opp im not pushing you off a damn ladder imma wait till you cash in then screw you,its common sense matt its not rocket science
@@antoineLebrane well I agree with you on that. No matter who the hell the champion is, they’re losing to Gunther at SummerSlam. I agree with that.
@@mattmorgan2534 and neither gunther or cody is loosing that title for atleast a year plus as much as i love la knight hes not ready just yet
@@antoineLebrane that’s definitely true as well. U are right
bron breaker losing cleanly is inexcusable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt, who is going to cash in on? Gunther is going to have a long reign, and he's not cashing on Cody. There's no point in him looking like a goof with the briefcase for 10 months.
I’m sorry, but you have LA night win and yes sorry folks, he needs to win the world title. How did Damien Priest leapfrog him? Why is Damien in this role before LA night?
@@mattmorgan2534 because damien priest has the look and he was always supposed to be a future world champion and la knight going for logan pauls u.s. championship im glad damien has a world title
@@TSmitty-ec7ll exactly plus the long term story is punk and drew thats what im trying to get people to understand
@@antoineLebrane I no problem with him being champion don’t get me wrong. I just don’t think I would’ve put the title on him before LA night is all I’m saying.
@@mattmorgan2534 i would agree if rhea wasnt out but with rhea out you need somebody to give that group some credibility i was happen for priest when he won it at mania ,and i mean id much rather see logan paul vs la knight at summerslam
Bron losing clean was absolute b.s booking . And sami is not a underdog anymore .
The MITB briefcase being put on the line in any match is beyond stupid.
