One of the main reasons I really would like AEW to air that footage live on TV is because it will make them look more of a joke to WBD. It will further prove to them that AEW, and by proxy its owner, doesn't understand or value business, and doesn't understand that every single minute of TV expensive. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if WBD gives a very low ball tv deal offer to AEW following this week

I was in the arena, it was an awkward promo for everyone in my section too.
I was talking to my neighbor who is an older man and he had no idea what this promo was for. He also didn't know why Punk was in the WWE now too. I had to explain this entire thing to him.. The point is that not all wrestling fans live on the internet. TK needs to stop catering to this small base. It's ridiculous.

In my opinion Pro Wrestling is about making the fans think what they see on their TV is real. It isn’t about letting them see what is really real.

I am weird and like small coincidences, but I found the mic feedback to be absolutely incredible 😂 - like that could have happened at anytime during the promo, but happened when he was about to say BS, instead of what it really was, one persons feedback and perspective. Which then forced him into calling it feedback, which he obviously wasnt going to do, and is much less negative. It just was too perfect 😂

Recently I saw a clip from The Rikki Lake Show, which was a trashy daytime talk show like Jerry Springer but hosted by actress Rikki Lake. This woman guest on the show I guess became more attractive or something and invited a guy who rejected her to rub it in his face that she was hot now and he was never going to get a chance with her again. And Rikki Lake asks the guy if he feels like he’s missed his chance and the guy, looking completely unfazed by all of this, just says, “No, I don’t care. I have a fiancée.” And this woman who wanted to confront him and rub it in his face is just standing there realizing that she put in all this effort to get back at this guy and he does not care at all. He moved on ages ago and is living his best life.
That’s what all of this feels like. CM Punk is like, “F that place,” and Tony Kahn is like, “I’ll show him! Edge! Get out there!” I thought Edge joined AEW to just have fun. Now he’s getting dragged into Tony’s drama and having to make embarrassing public speeches that ideally make no sense to the greater audience because hopefully they don’t know what all of this is about.
