I've been a fan of Metallica since i was a child age 5 in the 80s, my dad's butt-rock friends loved watching me get all hyped and headbang along... this music feeds my soul!! Thanks for an epic playlist!!
I'm really enjoying this mix. It has me listening to all sorts of songs from their discography, rather than my usual go-to's. St. Anger is growing on me.
These bands are the last of the Great Music in our time. My day is almost no more. Sad, sad, sad. I grew up with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I was a young teen when John Bonham died. I think I was about 16yrs young back then. Yup, not many songs like this in the future. Not human played anyway.
They are & they'll always be considered or known as of being the Lords of THRASH METAL!!!! FOREVER!!!! Without them, all we'd be generally listening to GRANITE ROCK music!!!! BOW or be beheaded!!!!
I just feel the need to thank to the person who made this great compilation with other hits instead of using the more listened ones! ❤ I love this compilation.

good list, start with dyers eve what could go wrong? finally no enter sandman, sad but true and all the song you hear all the time. i would loose nothing else matters, but over all good job :)
It is funny, I started only about 1 year ago really liking Metallica, although I know them since their hit Enter Sandman back in 1991. Throughout their career they have come up with a couple of quite complex songs with an elaborate structure and very inspired and inspiring sounds and licks. I must see them live once, although I am aware that the exceptional energy of the first albums has made place for a different sound.
I was finally able to see them live a few years ago. Best concert I've ever been to. If you get the chance, absolutely take it. Not only do they sound exactly like their recordings, but the show they put on is unforgettable

OMG I just realized that Spit Out The Bone is their modern day equivilent of DYER'S EVE!!!!!! Good job pairing that back to back! 👌🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
3 bars in I'm feeling motorbreath or hit the lights. Maybe the tone and rythym will mesh to dyers eve further down the sheet.
Hard to pick a favorite but I would pick Loverman. The way James sings this song is ❤️🔥
The moment I heard dyers eve and not like bells tolls or enter sandman as number 1 I knew this list was a banger 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
