There's a lot of great songs made by metallica, such as "The day that never comes", "The unforgiven", "Ride the thunder".. but it's just a personal choice to put or not put that song in this playlist. 1 hour is not enough for all their great stuff

So hating upon Metallica is basically trashing some of your favorite metal bands out there too. Respect Metallica, because without them, the metal world wouldn't be what it is now.

I was really surprised to see young people (gen x, etc) who enjoy this old music. This is good.
Gen X'er in that group for sure! Growing up in the 80s was a complete blast ( was 11 in 1980 so majority of my teen years were spent, in my opinion, in the most fun decade in a long time!). Rules were much more relaxed-no curfews-I used to be out at all hours and survived. Police didn't hassle people about that many things- there was more of a "just stop doing that and go on your way" attitude toward "small" things. I had all the Metallica records and also loved Iron Maiden a lot-still do 🙂Miss those those times and love many genres from that time period.
