I'd say the 1818 crown is better in my opinion the silver crown and half-crown are beautiful especially the early milled stuff Charles ii William iii

Hi Elliott,
This design depicts a St George and the dragon design, created by William Wyon.
This has not, however, been used on any sovereigns.

@@royalmint Wyon's Sovereign pattern? I had never seen before! Both Wyon and Pistrucci were marvelous artist. I personally love the design of Gothic Type Crown and Una and Lion by William Wyon.

The Royal Mint has only two problems I can see. Delivery is terrible and your staff lie when called enquiring about the whereabouts of an order.
