  • George Galloway speaks after his massive rally in Rochdale in which he announced a file has been submitted to Greater Manchester police alleging fraud in the General Election.
He also speaks about how well the Workers Party did in the election and how he has spoken to Jeremy Corbyn about a Mellenchon-type coalition of the Left.

Morgan is a member of LFI and according to Declassified UK, he received the sum of £1,600 from this lobby. Gerada supports her party's leader Keir Starmer and from her public facebook page, she campaigned for people to vote for Starmer's leadership.

Mr Galloway seems to forget that the highest appointees of the law are put their by his political opponents. Whilst they are theoretically there to implement the law dispassionately, the law in this country is made by parliament, again his political opponents. They will not treat his case dispassionately rather they will be directed not to do so. This being the case anything short of actual vote rigging = counting votes that don't exist he will be unsuccessful. Those who appoint you ie. Your political masters you don't want to displease in the hope of future advancement.
George did say or rather implied that many seats across the country were rigged - and he put out a clip from his Sunday show on July 7th implying just this. If he believes that and can prove it at least in Rochdale then he is on firm ground. But he is going up against people who weild power in this country and you rarely win against them irrespective of what maybe written in the Law.

I extend my support to George Galloway for many reasons, all of them socialist, but I'd add I am also one of the tens of millions in the UK who agree wholly with the comments George is being targetted for. My children's school didn't go into as much detail as some, and I know this exactly because I hold the same opinions as George and the other tens of millions of UK parents and consequently had a conversation with our children's school.
Our youngest is gay and I was deeply concerned how Stonewall was prioritising big pharma and creating confusion around gender stereotypes and simply being attracted to the same sex. The potential for irreversible outcomes for children was frightening at its height. It is only due to the bravery of trans men and women that Stonewall was eventually disgraced; along with the ridiculous decisions in our NHS who are now going back to clear binary gender language.
Whatever awful treatment, or lack of when it comes to transitioning, trans people endure worse than any other minority group; but as with most capitalist backed lobby groups this particular issue was handled appallingly, for the majority and the minority.
God speed young George, you will always have mine and many many others deepest respect and gratitude for your wonderful eloquence o many matters home and abroad ❤

As long as no one hurts or violates others or impose their beliefs onto others and their children, then we can all live in a condusive human society. However, the things some people on the far left are moaning about regarding Galloway seem very trivial compared to the horrific brutality and agonizing murder of the Palestinians en masse being streamed live before our eyes. And yet, the Palestinians are the most humble of people, who value simple things in life than material or hedonistic gains that we in the west generally have come to put as priority in pursuit of happiness. Turn the table around, and believe me, we won't be thinking a out indentity politics. Palestinians get my love and respect, though I'm not religious. Bastani's wife Charlotte Gerada is Labour's Southsea Councillor and a friend and ally of MP Stephen Morgan. Morgan is a member of LFI and accepted £1,600 from this lobby according to Declassified UK. Gerada is also a big supporter of her party leader Keir 'Kid Starver' Starmer and has campaigned for electorates to vote for him. The same ghoul that said on LBC it was Israel's right to cut off water, electricity and food from the people of Gaza.

@@Loneman_OG This is a video of Galloway and about his interview with Bastani so my comment is related to this, and not the whole of Novara Media or its other guest. Now, I would not marry a woman for looks only who had polar fundamental morals as mine. For example, I wouldn't marry a woman who endorses someone like Ratko Mladić and asks people to vote for him, while staying silent on the atrocities Ratko is complicit in, now would I? Bastani's wife actively supports and endorses Starmer, who himself publicly justified the cutting off of water, electricity and food to the people of Gaza and is complicit in an ongoing gen o cide. During his time as the head of the CPS, Starmer blocked the prosecution of war criminal Tzipi Livni and possibly Jimi Saville's case too. Point is Bastani's domestic political biases and true position on Palestine is questionable.

What was disappointing was how Bastani framed the interview at the beginning - v poor journalism. This was a shame because he had clearly done his research and challenged GG robustly in the interview itself. GG himself, at the end, said how much he had enjoyed the interview.
This is the thing, you don’t always have to agree with him, but hear him out. Prepare to listen, and hear the decency and passion that underpins all his opinions.

Galloway has some of the right buzzwords and some of the more interesting conspiracy theories, so I get his appeal for some... but not me, which is why I always say I am ON the left, not OF the left. However, I guess I'm not alone. 210,000 votes over 152 candidates and no seats. Meanwhile, four independents - five if you include Corbyn - won seats on the same (essentially) pro-Gaza platform while Galloway himself lost his seat. His relationship with the left is spotty, to say the least. It's kind of him to embrace Corbyn... but I don't think that kindness is reciprocated. Meanwhile he complains he doesn't have a platform, Novara Media gave him one, and now he's complaining that what he himself said was somehow misrepresentative of what he thinks and that NM are thus a part of the blob - come on guys, that may be the term used on the right but it amounts to the same thing - there to put him down. You could take Galloway and Truss, jiggle their words around a little and they could be writing each other's self-justificatories.
Anyway, given the left is inevitably fragmenting - we're good at that, aren't we, guys - Galloway will find his niche in splitting the vote in future elections doing the establishment's work for them. (Not a conspiracy theory... when it comes to conspiracy vs cock-up, for me it's cock-up every time. That he works in the establishment's interests and they're happy to have him around is just a fact even if he's not in on the joke). Me? I joined the Green Party. Oh sure, I know, neoliberal establishment simperers and Carla Denyer is a scout for the Venusian invasion force but like I said, each to their own.

As far as I know NM didn't dismiss those claims as they indeed would have been expected too if UNtrue. If they were to go back on the agreement out of what they believed was an obligation voters then they should have posted the entire video and let voters make an informed decision. They would have known Galloway's position I am sure prior to the interview, and asked the question for him to reaffirm it - leigitimate journalism - but knowing his likely response and simultaneously agreeing to the release date of the video makes them look opportunistic and dishonest: they probably knew what he was going to say and still agreed on a release date with the elections prior to it.
