Great Feature! Now people who aren't as technologically advanced can host a server without knowing about port forwarding / static IPs. It is also more secure.
The server host feature is literally just you running a Minecraft server in your computer and port forwarded, but it's not 24/7 it runs in your background but as soon as you shutdown or close the feather client in your task manager, the server will shutdown so that's something. 🙃
@Velonism single player has 20 ping avg. Because it's also a server just no one can join, until you turn in lan. The version in which Lan didn't existed had completely offline and was 0 ping.
@Velonism don't create on feather. Just make it normally, you know you can ude aternos. You will get less ping. Also you can use some kind of hotspot software to connect you both to the same IP then connect through lan. I don't play bedrock but it's way better to play with friends, you can just invite them and bam they're in your single player world. Java sucks at this aspect tho.
Does this support the official bedrock edition server software? Ik something like GeyserMC exists but it'll take far to much resources for my windows 11 PC to convert the bedrock packets to java ones

I think you need to maintain a download and upload speed of atleast 30 mbps for your friends to play with decent ping, you ofcourse can play with 0 ping if you use "localhost" as the IP. Other than that, you have the perfect pc to host a server.

How can we permanently set the difficulty on hard? I do it with '/difficulty hard' but everytime I close the server and reopen it, it's back to easy difficulty
In my opinion feather client is just a copy and paste from lunar client and they made it better. I dont use it for pvp but for survival, thats why I like it.

no. You could see when he opened the game files at 5:47 that all the files are on his pc. But what feather's doing is already doable without feather, you can download server-jar from the minecraft website and than setup your server without feather client. The only reason to use feather is bc its easier to setup, but no difference.
my god it pretty easy to create a server with this i like it i got like 64 g ram too i can give more then 32g to the game ans server and got 32g left i really think they should add more player 100 is not enough for my pc i think i got ryzen 3900x and 64g ram with an radeon rx 6800xt xfx (merc edition) anyway i didnt know about fether i found it just today im still very late but im glad i found this

You should switch out of Salwyrr if u are a non-crack player. It used to be good, but it's VERY limited.

It used to use code from lunar but has since changed to its own, nowadays, most clients are a copy of lunar, even badlion.

They never used lunar client code, no one has access to it other than lunar client staff. People seriously needed to explain that?
