Batman: Arkham Knight is a 2015 action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Based on the DC Comics superhero Batman, it is the successor to the 2013 video game Batman: Arkham Origins, a direct sequel to Batman: Arkham City (2011) and the fourth main installment in the Batman: Arkham series. Written by Sefton Hill, Ian Ball and Martin Lancaster, Arkham Knight is inspired by the long-running comic book mythos. Set nine months after the events of 2011's Batman: Arkham City, the game's main storyline follows Batman as he confronts Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing a citywide evacuation. Scarecrow, with the help of the mysterious Arkham Knight, plots to unite all of Gotham's criminals in an attempt to finally destroy Batman.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective, with a primary focus on Batman's melee combat, stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets. Batman can freely move around the open world of Gotham City, interacting with characters and undertaking missions, and unlocking new areas by progressing through the main story or obtaining new equipment. The player is able to complete side missions away from the main story to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together against numerous foes while avoiding damage, while stealth allows Batman to conceal himself around an area, using gadgets and the environment to silently eliminate enemies. Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which is used for transportation, puzzle solving and combat.

That was literally without superpowers. Batman is kinda the definition of a superhero to me.
Oh yeah. Batman as a tactician and martial artist goes to the point where it’s absurd. The man on a good day can lift/ press a close to 1000 pounds, can not be heard by even by a kryptonian like Superman. Can escape traps they were made specifically for him on the regular. All the while, kicking beating/the crap out of criminals with barely a few hours of sleep a day. Oh and that’s not even counting the amount of criminals bones he snaps like twigs on a regular basis. Batman is the whole different breed of diabolical when it comes to being Gotham’s dark avenger.

It is interesting to see that despite the same abilities, how different our styles can be with a game like this. I tend to go for more versatility than high numbers and damage, but neither choice is a bad one.
Yeah this guy uses almost no gadgets in combat. I on the other hand uses the batclaw, explosive gel and batarang much more. But he is obviously still very effective
There's a batmobile assist takedown, imagine a batwing assist takedown
BRUTAL
*Injustice 2*
We need a game for that
@@R3d_Dr4g0n18we aint gettin a game like Arkham Knight ever again
Injustice games be like:
Damn, that was smooth. You really held that combo. Great fighting!
Thank you!
How do you hold your combo for so long?
@@Ruben1900-s1odon’t get hit and don’t miss a swing/strike
it’s one of my favorite things to do. You don’t see that kind of brutality in superhero games anymore. Watching him manhandle these guys and snap bones like twigs will never not be satisfying. Another great thing is that with each encounter with Batman the criminals actually respond to your actions. As if they’re watching in real time. If your snap bone they react. “oh shit I just heard his bone break!” Or “ Oh holy crap that’s brutal!”
“ oh yup, he’s not getting up on that!”
Do a counter sidekick that sends a guy flying across the map
“ Holy, how the hell did he do that?!”
“ he just sent Ryan flying 20 feet away with a single kick!”
If you take down a big guy the enemies start to doubt themselves and their confidence is completely drained. “oh crap he took down the big guy!” “oh no, we’re screwed! Run!”
Even if you’re uber stealthy, they react to your actions. The mind games you play by mimicking voices swimmingly to appear out of the darkness from nowhere to take out five enemies within seconds in rapid succession,. You start taking them out one by one without even being seen you watch what used to be confidence turned into terror. Turning trained mercenary and killers into crying cowards will never not be badass.
these guys are really questioning there life rn
For real
Imagine a batwing takedown? Instead of some non lethal round it fulton extracts them? Or drops a smoke bomb or emp?
0:31 Invisible wall 😂
you're telling me this is who we gotta fight in suicide squad
Gonna be tough man
Chances are, it'll play out like the multiplayer mode in Arkham Origins
This didn’t age well, rip Kevin Conroy. Rocksteady really fucked up
Just incredible!
Thanks!
I wish we could make a game where it's powered by a body suit that would let us really simulate a fight.
0:31 bro is him
I’m laughing because there’s an animation where he bounces off a wall to kick someone. Except there’s no wall lol your boy has no superpowers yet. He wall ran on air. Why?
Because “ I’m Batman” 😂🤌🏻
Impressive!
Love this game
this is the batman i want to see in the movies.
0:31 Did he just leap off of an invisible wall???
Amazing, impressive work 👏I finished all the Arkham games, but I could never do combat well. I've been working on it now on Origins' training the last weeks, no mashing, really chilled, step by step... But I can't even hit the x15 streak, f***ing 15 :(((( it's pathetic, I decided that my brain is probably not fast enough...
Thank you, you need to put in the hours… once you do it, your muscle memory will automatically know when to counter and evade. Keep trying good luck!
Those animations look so good, but why does the character teleport from enemy to enemy? it removes area control from the combat's challenge.
the suit makes him faster and more agile making him dash to enemy from enemy flawlessly and its a skill you get from the wayne tech upgrades
Weird seeing ChuckP the great Kiwami 2 moveset modder here.
@@tonson5214Actually getting ideas for animations lol. Those joint locks look nasty.
I would’ve thought Batman would’ve passed being called “the character” by now
These are so damn hard. As are some of the land mine scenarios and a couple of the Riddler's Batmobile obstacle courses. It really makes the game boring when you have to spend hours sometimes trying to pass the same damn thing. Or...I just really suck.
Once you get the adrenaline, you start doing it as an art. It really is satisfying playing it. A game that is almost 10 years old is better than most games nowadays.
Yeah the Riddler races are quite annoying.
Impressive ❤
Appreciate it ❤️
You know if you batclaw slam a brute you one shot them if they are not sheilded
Can’t beat my high score 🤓
it no Mod moveset ?
What's this challenge map called?
Azrael’s Astonishment I guess
2:19 how to do that?
square and triangle with a 5 hit combo bc
Got it
Disarm and Destroy.
