No one: why does the a01 show 100 degrees Fahrenheit and the a10e show 104 degrees Fahrenheit?
Because there are 4 degrees separating the temperatures they are claiming......... Hail Celsius

Look at the text below the temperatures. The text displayed is the last time the weather app was updated. They are showing different update times, hence the different temperatures.
I prefer a10e because of more storage, type-c port and speaker at the bottom than back. This phone is also felxible for performance as well!

@@NehemYah810 The A40 is not being sold in the US. I think that it was pushed in India. The A30 and A40 are both okay but really marginal improvements between the A20/21 and the A50/51.
I have seen reviews of both the A30 and the A40. You can buy the A30 in the US and probably the A40 also.

I had a a10e and it was a great budget phone! Tbh I liked it more than my A21. You can get one unlocked for 60 or so bucks and its getting one ui 4.1 and android 12. Thats a great price for that experience
One thing you (frustratingly) cannot do with the A10e is set the number of rings or time in seconds before a call goes to voicemail. This preference was hitherto a standard feature on mostly all phones. Now it's being stripped away. Is the A01 also so backward?
Is this phone (A01) good for the long run ( 2 to 3 years)? I am considering this phone for the size and headphone jack.

Finally, the video I waited months (literally months) for.
I have the a01..the storage sucks!! I constantly have to clean the cache. I wonder if there is a way to transfer apps to my sd card (which is a 64gb) or if there's a free app that will clear the cache for me. I'm considering getting a phone with more space, smdh

I have heard of the A01 but lucky I didn't get it. I have the A10e and its been an awesome upgrade to my last phone.
I do have the update with A10e and it's a bummer that it might not get the next update but for what it's worth for me it's a good phone none the less plus massive storage to boot..

I have a j3 orbit are either better than what I have? I like to play minecraft somtimes and the j3 orbit can do 8 chunks are reasonable frames.

I had the LG stylo that was great till I accidentally ran it over with a customer's Cadillac. But now I got the Samsung A01 and it is faster at tasks than the LG stylo was. The Samsung A01 is $59 at Walmart right now.
I feel like this is the best price for any smart phone on the market. Ironically the only phone at Walmart that comes with android 10 right out of the box!!!
I just got the a10e and I love the size and how it fits in my hands as well as type c charging and the extra storage but I needed more I got 544 GB

You can get android 10 on the galaxy a10e you just need an program made by Samsung called smart switch on your computer and it is also rumored to be getting android 11
Or just check for system updates, Android 10 was pushed to the a10e my guy.

Folks, I’m looking for a decent entry level small in size basic smart phone for my dad. I’m torn between the A20, A01, J2 or maybe another recommendation you folks may have?
I know I'm a month late but the A01 is really good I have it and it's a lot cheaper... It's fast and gets the job done :)

I recommend an a11 it's an ypgrade of the a01 and should be as good as the a20
The only thing keeping me from the A01 is that apps can't be moved to the sd card (the A10e appears to have that ability)

I can get 5 g on an a01 and have seen 5 g not available on an a10e so probably version specific

I just bought mine this week for $18.00 in Walgreens (it was on clearance ). Simple Mobile is the carrier (T-Mobile). It has the USB-C port. It's better than my Samsung J2.

@@King-a-ling The SAMSUNG A01 . But now in July 2021 Walmart started a promotion with AT&T were you get the A02 which has a bigger screen for 19.00 + tax. You have to open a direct payment account for $40.00 but you get 25 gigabytes of data per month. The promotion I believe ends in September. I'm planning to take it next month. I only get 3 gigabytes per month with Simple Mobile.
All you have to do to get the Android10 update on the a10e is, go to your computer and download smart switch from Samsung and then it will say to check for update and then it should work

Designed to sell not use. Extremely slow laggy phones. I used to A10E for 6 months and upgraded to a iPhone 12 mini, and literally feels like I traveled 20 years in the future. Obviously the price difference is massive, but for $180 I’d try to find an iPhone 6s or galaxy s6 because these budget phones are not fast at all

There is actually a samsung phone below a01 called a01 core. 1gb ram only, bare minimum smartphone!
I think in budget category vivo and oppo along with Xiaomi makes very good smartphones than the Samsung..

It is a steal because this phone is actually better (Galaxy A01). When I mean better, I mean by most rights. The phone has a little less power in some aspects, but overall is a pretty good phone. It shares it's screen size with phones the like of well, the galaxy note 3, 4, and 5. Pretty good screen size for a small phone like it. And if yours isn't broken, it's got the same 720p screen, so you really aren't losing out on much here. The screen size really only contributes to some of the loses this phone has, and we will delve into that, right now. So the loses are mostly, Screen, Build quality (for the most part), performance (in some aspects the A01 does better, but is still lacking compared to other 40-60-90 dollar phones), and thickness (who cares about thickness?). Right now, this is definitely looking to be on the side of the A10e right? Well, look here, listen. The samsung galaxy A01's advantages are as follows, Back cameras, front camera, facial scanning (it happens faster on the A01 than on the A10e), Being more "gripable" (this meaning the bezels are a little bit more thick, but if you enable the black bar notch cover up, the phone becomes pretty much as gripable as phones back then used to. (Phones such as the Galaxy Note4), Affordability. (Meaning this phone costed me around 40 dollars brand new in-box, meaning that it is just about up there with the LG K8, the phone that I used to compare the A01 to.), and last but not least, updates. (This mainly applies to this phone going in a clash against other phones of this price range. This phone gets android 10 and one ui 2.0 meaning that this phone will be even easier than ever to use for many people wanting a phone of this price range).
bro same off a j7 3 years 100 buck vs this years 60 buck
I know why it is 60 to 40 dollars now. It is because of the phones architecture. It has fragile glass, (GET A CASE) and it doesn't really have good battery life, along that, the camera(s) are subpar, and the screen is not gorilla glass (hold a grain of salt to this), which means the phones screen, if your hands are left unkept for some time, could become really dirty, tacked on grime spots and etcetera. Whats also up with this phone is that it is underpowered. Very underpowered. The samsung galaxy sIII i think has more power than this device, and it is kinda crazy when you consider that those two phone are more identical than you think. The worst part isnt the power, but the speaker placement being the same as the said galaxy sIII, and having the exact same speaker grill, layout, shape and placement as the galaxy young. Very old phone. This phones main selling point is its cheapness, but I don't need to worry as I am now typing this off of a Samsung Galaxy Note4. If you have this phone, I'm not going to warn you anymore after this, and I won't stress this enough.. Get a CASE! When I say that this phone is fragile, I'm speaking from experience. My Galaxy A01 fell out of my pocket onto the sidewalk and shattered badly. So please, get a case.

The A01 16GB is a no go, this would be bare minimum for a child or an elderly.

Just bought my mother a a01, knew 16 g was not enough, but with a 32g card it's now 48 g, more than enough for her, if you need more get a bigger card? Why is the internal capacity such a big deal when it is easily and cheaply expandable?

My a10e is a pile of crap. The display has yellowed around the edges. Camera always has issues reds.

Still my A10e has been the slowest phone I've ever owned.
It is also the slowest phone I ever used I hated it within the first 2 days, It was slow, and I'm sure it was alive cause whenever I watched a yt video on another phone it would freeze and be even slower

I had 2 months with it until got my Motorola one action, i normally wait longer to get a new phone but that a10e was trash I would be doing something on it and If someone called me the phone would freeze and become unresponsive for 2 minutes

Had one from October of 2019 to June of this year, what a piece of shit, would freeze, had horrible connections in school and such a dull display. Also lots of lag and the camera was pure trash. Saved up some $$$ and got the Moto G Stylus on Metro for $140 out the door after taxes, activation, rebate and first month bill. Such an upgrade ! Feels like I have a damn flagship now
