The way I see it, it just simply comes down to what you want to use the phone for. If you're looking for a sub $200 daily driver, I think the A11 is the better option, simply because of the extra features that make life easier (fingerprint reader, USB-C, slightly faster specs, etc.). Although as mentioned in the video, by that point it might be more worth it to jump straight to the A31. The A01 to me feels more like a secondary/backup device more than a phone for day-to-day use. It is a great phone to take with you on long trips when you don't want to risk the health of your more expensive device. Or maybe as a work phone that's only used for calls, texts, etc. but has the benefit of keeping your personal and professional life separate. This doesn't mean that it couldn't be used as a daily driver, but there are features missing that I personally consider as a necessity (as stated above, mainly the fingerprint reader and a UCB-C port) In the end, it is up to each person to decide. Whilst I'm not in the market for super-budget phones like these, it is really interesting to watch just how good even the cheapest devices can be. I feel like they don't get mentioned enough by large phone review channels.

Yes and 15gb is used by the phone operating system and you can't migrate apps to the sd card. Its only for pictures and video. You'll get bugged by the phone about low memory and asked to delete stuff
I bought the a21s a few days ago and although it is a good phone in many ways i was shocked how poor the screen is when watching youtube. I came from using aTecno Camon 12air also with 6.5" 720p screen and that screen was so much better looking and that phone was only $120. Basically if the quality of screen is important maybe skip these lower end samsung phones. They just look faded and washed out. Just my opinion though.
Performance is a bit (really bit) better on 9S, but you get a better screen, camera, software and maybe better battery life since I have read that 9s is poorly optimized and those 5k are like 3.5k equivalent.
The reason the a01 feels a bit snappier is because snap 439 and snap 450 use the same a53 cores, 12nm and 14nm however, but the 439 runs at 2.0, while the 450 runs at 1.8, the 450 also has a 'better' gpu even tho its 2017 tech.
If only there's A11 spec and camera in the compact size of A01, I would've gone that option. But can't have them all, so I ordered the A11. Hope it turn out fine.
Based on my research, Yes. SD 450 is much older than SD 439 and because it is of a later date, they've put some changes to the chip that brings out difference like Much Optimized Performance and Better Battery Life. On the other side, their GPU only differs a bit, Adreno 505(439) and Adreno 506(450), which is really too small to notice a change. The processor for A11 isnt made for gaming if you wanna a phone which can beat all the high graffic game, i highly recomend you buy secondhand iphone which is equal price to samsung A11
Don't, its junk I have one. It is sd locked so you only can use the sd for videos and pictures and can't move apps to it. Out of box you only get 1GB of memory if you are lucky. The rest of the 16gb is for system use

The A01 is junk. Its SD locked, can't use the SD for anything but pics and videos. You only get like 1GB of memory to actually use out of the box, everything else is used for the system.
Me just sitting here sad cuz I now know that I used to have a super amoled galaxy s8 and 64GB of internal storage and now I have a lcd/tft screen with only 16GB of internal storage so I basically downgraded In preformance.

I think they can keep everything basically the same but allow you to more easily convert the main storage to the micro sd
I really like the A01’s smaller form factor, but the drop notch and thicker chin is a dealbreaker for me.
