Can you do a video on cutting with the roller
As always, Very informative. I'm always referring back to your videos when I need guidance on my projects. A couple of Quick questions, is this Fox Alien Rotary tool compatible with the X-Carve CNC? If not, is there one compatible with that machine?
No, it not compatible. The stepper motor is way to small. I believe it is a NEMA 17. I do not know of one that is compatible with the XCarve
Hi there! I am learning so much from your videos! Thank you!! I have a question about something you mentioned in your video. You changed out your CNC spindle for the laser engraving head in this video. I currently only have the FoxAlien laser engraver but I’ve been looking into a CNC. I thought it would be another complete machine purchase but now you have me wondering if I can simply buy a CNC spindle attachment/upgrade and use the Reizer base rather than purchasing another separate machine. Is this possible and if so, what would I need to purchase?
If you have the laser you can not add the spindle to it. It’s a different controller and the machine must be much heavier. The FOXAlien 4040xe is a much heavier machine with the laser and the CNC control boards installed. That’s no the case with the Reizer. It’s just a dedicated laser
I got the rotary laser with the Fox Alien 4040 XE and the rotary setup for that model as well, but i haven't used it yet. Do i need Lightburn to utilize the laser with the machine or does it work with Candle or Easel? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
You will need Lightburn or lasergrbl

Paw Paw, I love your videos! On installing the rotary roller how would you engrave a cup or something bigger? Do you have to raise the machine? I know you can get longer legs. Is that what I need? Thanks! Keep up the good work!!!
Yes, just raise up the machine. I’ve used paint cans and plywood. Anything will work

I have watched your tutorial many time and still can't get my laser to work with the rotary tool. The rollers spin but the laser does not move. Can you give me any advice? I have a fox alien richter laser and fox alien rotary tool. I appreciate any help. I don't see any switch on my laser but the rest I have followed exactly.
