The further north you get, the better the berries taste, due to the long amount of sun hours. Strawberries are delicious all over the country, but if you ever go to Northern Norway in late summer, you should try the local strawberries. They are amazing.
People pick all kinds of berries, I live in Finnmark and most common berries are blueberries, crowberries (Krøkebær), lingdonberries (Tyttebær) and ofcourse the golden ones... cloudberries (Multebær) ... Krøkebær is often used to make Saft with .... my grandmother used to make the best ofcourse.
Norway = best berries ever!
We couldn’t agree more!

Norway is a berries heaven🤩 we still have to try the multebær! We missed it by being to early and to late in the mountains😅
That sounds refreshing🧃
Heh, Norwegians still love the Danes despite the 400 years of nigtht :)
Haha I’ve heard that yes🇩🇰🫶🇳🇴
The Swedes got in between, so we forgot the horrors of Danes.
For mushrooms I would think in Maria og skogen. She teach foraging to children.
Thanks! We will give her a look!
just don't pick and eat the liberty cap mushroom, that will bring out the Viking in you.
