    I thought I was a Zone 9...but maybe Zone 8. I live in the Seattle area. I grew a Dichondra Silver Falls by itself in a hanging basket a couple years ago...I couldn’t believe how big it got ...I couldn’t resist touching the leaves! The nursery had 1 left in a 4’ container on the clearance rack, potted in the center of my hanging basket and fertilized it regularly and it just got so huge!!! Cara I like how you have it in the container behind you! What are the other plants in that planter? New to your channel...looking forward to watching more of your videos.

      Thank you!! I’m feeling your Dichondra love! ❤️ I find it also starts really taking off with heat...how hot does Seattle get in the Summer? Do you notice that connection as well?
      That pot has a Lemon Cyprus, some begonia and a blue fescue grass. Morning sun and such a happy combo that year!!!❤️

    love it! I’m planning to use it as ground cover for my garden bed, could you please tell me how to propagate it (if I buy cuttings) and how long does it take to grow? thanks!

      I have no experience with bringing it indoors but I found this helpful blog that says…yes! You can grow it indoors!!! www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/groundcover/dichondra/grow-silver-falls-dichondra-indoors.htm

    How about watering?

    • @PowertotheFlower

      Hey there!! Watering requirements for the plant are average!

      @@PowertotheFlower beginner here! What is “average”??? Also, what should the potting situation be indoors??

    • @PowertotheFlower
      @PowertotheFlower  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@laurenwinborn5411 yes! Of course! Average watering requirements mean its not a drought tolerant plant nor wants to be sitting in water! So it means you still need to figure it out for your climate…u fortunately there is no perfect number of days to tell us….but typically a plant will need water after the first two inches of soil are dry. Stick finger in the pot and see how wert it is. As for indoor conditions, I wouldn’t know as I’ve only grown it outdoors! ❤️
