Well, he did say that if any of earth's champions beat him he'd spare everyone on the TV but never did specify what the challenge had to be, so if Yami won he *would* have. After all, the Cell Games in Abridged were to prove his perfection in everything before blowing them up, and if he lost in Yugioh he would have an area he wasn't perfect in compared to the Earthling scrubs. Meaning he'd spare the planet, go out into space, blow up a bunch of dead planets, then come back and double down on Yugioh until he could beat Yami blindfolded.

@@wren5413 yet MTG does whitow changing the base rules, they just add new decks with different strategies and game styles, Yugioh adds base rules almost every two years. I wouldnt be surprised if next addition was some kind of Field-like card type that adds modifiers and special rules to certain element of monsters instead of types.

but in today standard , summoning a god is hard compared to a synchro or a xyz, and even some pendulum , that gain higher reward
It doesn't negate all card effect, it just makes it so card effects that would normally be chained to someone normal summoning can't be activated. Which doesn't matter cause most decks have so many ways to handle god cards besides negating a normal summoning.

I didn't really watch these at the time, but they really do hammer home how you made Cell the most interesting character in the series.
Canonically if perfect cell agreed to play any game versus Yami Yugi and loses Yami could send his soul/mind to the shadow realm this ending him as a threat.

@@deadlyslayer271 Well the Egyptian God cards you have to tribute 3 monsters, for very lame effects the best is Obolisk but all he does is be uneffectid by effects with 4000 atk, you can just Kaiju it then the opponent just wasted 3 resources to summon a 2200 that gets beat over by dogoran, it would've been a much better play to use those 3 monsters for an Extra Deck monster

"Bowing to winds" makes absolutely zero sense in any context, and neither does "winds of my majesty". Plus, Clarkson uses that in the context of driving, which actually makes more sense.
