Thank you so very much for lighting a fire in my life. I do not have a natural talent for sewing. I am the grandchild of a phenomenal seamstress who designed her own clothes, made her own patterns, and repurposed feed sacks as well as clothing of quality passed down to her from ladies who had outgrown, or replaced their clothing. She even made some of her husband’s suits and ties from other men’s clothing. She made a beautiful wedding for a another nurse for 50 cents.dressBut as with many artists, they move so fast and don’t have time to patiently teach a child or a person of less ability. You teach in a logical, systematic manner that leaves no question of how to make your creations in step by step precision. I feel a great desire to attempt to tackle your lovely creations. I m 75 and look forward with confidence in following your instructions. I love your ability to take two entirely different designs of fabric and make them seem made for each other after you finish the project. I thank you so very much. God bless you for your clarity and patience.

This was the most enjoyable tutorial I have watched on TH-cam, no music, dog barking and emergency sirens, only your voice. Thank you so much and with your instructions, I’m going to give it a try. Thanks again

Very good video! Clear instructions. I like how you showed sewing slow to medium is the way to be accurate. Good for you for not feeling pressure to shorten the video and race through it. Beautiful bag!

You made a beautiful bag .I’m so glad when you used inches instead of centimeters.
I never learned centimeters in school we used feet n inches.

I have been searching for a pattern like this and was so excited when I saw this. I have been watching you on TH-cam for a while and think your voice is so pleasant, and love how you get right to the point. You obviously worked very hard on this pattern and I want to thank you so much for sharing. I’m getting the cutting done today. Can’t wait to actually get to use it. 😃

When I received the Oslo pattern I saved it to my computer with a "some day maybe" thought. I've always wanted a craft bag like this but have yet to find a pattern or tutorial that I thought was "doable". Yay!!! I think I've found it. Just watched the tutorial and am getting ready to finally print out my pattern. You make this look so easy and while I am sure I'll run into a glitch or two along the way I think I will finally get my craft bag without spending a fortune and knowing I did it myself. Thank you so much.

I would say the Oslo Craft Bag. This is the first video tutorial I watched and I feel in love. It is also the first bag I made and now have made 2. This bag has also helped me make the Sloan travel bag which I will hopefully finish tonight! Thank you Sarah and Danny for all that you do. You have brought joy to my life when I needed it most.

What a phenomenal bag! I enjoyed watching you make it as much as any TH-cam video I’ve ever seen. I love that you aren’t afraid to explain and then just sew with no talking. I love watching people sew or knit or crochet. I don’t need a constant stream of talking. You were always clear about what you were doing and your demonstration is crystal clear. I’m thanking you for posting the video and for your generous free pattern. I’m looking forward to the rest of your videos and any future videos you post.

Thank you for the step to step video. I am a visual learner and I need this to fully understand how to do something like this. I have watched many bag type videos and most are not as complete in the explanation as this seems to be. I also want to thank you for the pattern that is also very unusual, most send you to the website to purchase the pattern and I have always stayed away from them because their videos did not give me all the information I thought I need to start the project. So GREAT JOB sara

Wow, no wonder craft bags are so expensive! You did a great job and the detailed step-by-step instructions were easy to follow. Perhaps the folks who gave thumbs down didn't like the length of the video but you can always fast forward and get the highlights if you are that impatient (and if you are, then sewing is not a good hobby for you!).

I am planning to make some stuffs for my and daughter so I am studying and watching many basic sewing videos here in youtube but then when I ordered many stuffs I have a problem on where to put all my necessary starting kits so it will not make any mess at home. Good thing I found this video. Really beautiful bag and easy instructions.
