    Bud, at exactly 06:40 you can see there is an exposed wire just to the right of the hose and right next to the red loom.

      Yes, this filter was leaking for about 3 months, a mechanic told me if it gets too bad all the oil will drain from there, so its better to replace soon

      Newer trucks come with the adapter, this is and older year, 2013

      No you don't have to drain the oil to replace the crank case

    I would have swapped the plastic hose for the original metal one wouldn’t have to worry about buying an adapter

      @@Phamquoc0705 good afternoon sir ,my truck did this yesterday and the effect was at first loss of torque power and then red engine light and red oil light flashing indicating no oil. I was blessed to be close to a mechanic shop that did the job for me.i paid $ 817 for parts and service .hope this help.
