Hi Nina, it would mean a lot to me if you could give me your commentary about an audio i recorded trying to sing, i have never sing in my life which means i'm terrible and do not know how to sing but years ago i recorded a video of me singing well i mean trying to sing and uploaded it to see if someone can tell me if i am totally not for this and have no remaining hopes to start singing so i can quit and not continuing forward to something that is impossible for me Please listen to it, it's only a few seconds long and please expect that i'm bad cause i never sang in my life, i just want to know if there is hope to fix my voice. th-cam.com/video/gGn5jnWnqow/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o5lJ1F2K8XYZm12g
A wonderful performance. The arrangement is nothing short of EPIC !! She can give us the melancholy but make us smile at the same time---such a gift to have!!
This is such a great rendition of this song within an amazing concert. I think a shout out to Silja Sol for providing impeccable harmonies are in order. I very much agree with you about the strong medieval feeling. I envision her frozen breath in the dark forest night near the castle as her lantern illuminates soft snowflakes drifting down around her Especially during that drone call and response.
Looking forward to your reaction and insights on Aurora's new album (What Happened to the Heart), including also her remix of SOUL WITH NO KING (with Brian Eno), her music video of STARVATION, and her live performances of SOME TYPE OF SKIN and SOUL WITH NO KING!
It's been such a delight to have followed Aurora for the last eight years and see where she is now, and then revisit her earlier work and remember how she struck me the first time. Love from Norway Nina.
you spoke about how the blue light really set the tone for the song. The blue lighting was there for all songs in this concert except for 1, and it was her song called "Murder Song". In that song all the lights suddenly shifted to red, and it gave the whole performance a truly haunting effect.
Amazing Aurora song and reaction. I loved it :) Ps. You asked for favorite song from this concert. Whole concert is magic, but I think my favorite is Lucky :).
As far as her songs go, I can't pick a favorite. But, one thing I know for certain Nina, YOU are my favorite! 💗 As always, you have brightened my day. Hope you have a wonderful day! (Also, I love your earrings). You are more beautiful than the year is long!!
Another awesome performance from this amazing concert! Favorite song from this concert is probably "Soft Universe," but there are several others (including "Winter Bird") that are very close behind. This concert is magic from start to finish. I hope at some point you're able to watch the entire thing in one sitting, because it really is something special, in its entirety.
Hello! She have some songs that have medievel touch and there are so beautiful and rare these days. Her storytelling and painting is so good in this one. Thank you dear! Have a nice Easter!
This concert is a masterpiece. The songs have been arranged to fit the acoustics of the cathedral and to take advantage of the available musicians. Dropping the backing to a minimum, or nothing, shapes them so well. What a special person she is.
Hello Nina , it’s been long since I watched your videos honestly. But when I need a vocal coach review I just search for you cause your are my favourite.
Great reaction, Nina ❤ Like you said, all of Aurora's performances on this concert are amazing, and this is yet another example. My personal favourite from the concert is "Through The Eyes Of A Child". Have a wonderful Easter! Love from Norway 🇸🇯❤️❤❤❤
My first encounter with this song was the Official Music Video, changed my view on Interpretive Dance. But I love the majesty imparted by the organ in this version. For more Medieval vibes, try:- 'AURORA - Scarborough Fair' : th-cam.com/video/HEDs_3PFIMM/w-d-xo.html For more of her voice soaring, you need:- 'AURORA - Take Me Back Home - BBC Proms 2022. BBC Frozen Planet 2.' : th-cam.com/video/gUaKBB3k37w/w-d-xo.html
Like you, I cannot pick a favourite from this performance. I also love the medieval quality of the drone, harmonies and dissonances of this song. Check out the official music video, it is anything but medieval! ❤
This Aurora concert I watched last year. This watching had a very strong influence on me, and I had a headache for a whole day after watching it. Just wanted to share my impression.
i had not taken the time to watch this one but i am glad i watched it with your analysis. Yes i loved it but i guess my favourite is still "lucky". It's such a hopeful song with powerful energy in it's emotive words. spiritual.
I remember how I felt..... It was 28 desember 2017, and there was nothing interesting on the tv. So I reluctant agreed to see the concert. I did not like this wierdo artist, she acted and talked in a strange way that made me uncomfortable. I remember that I after the concert was stunned, but my fear for "strange" was too high so I quickly forgot all about it.... Fast forward to the pandemic, I was sick of tv/netflix/series, so I desided I would support Norwegian artists by exploring their music (and buying what I liked). I dived deep and found / rediscovered Sigrid, Skaar, Kurt, and Aurora. I started to really check out the backstory, and the messages, and liked all these artists, but DEEPEST of them all I fell for Auroras magic. (Her art, not the person 😂 ) I was mostly influenced by Adam Straughan, the way he "analysed" her, but also others and my own discovery. So from a person that was in a way afraid of "strange and wierd", to a person that loves it. I dont like everything, but I love the diversity! From a person that think Aurora was a wierdo that made me uncomfortable, to a person that think we are all wierdos in our own way, and that Auroras magic is a gift to humanity.❤ And the Nidarosdomen concert is in my mind the greatest concert of all time, I have seen it SO many times. I eaven use it as a audio "playlist".
Not my favorite Aurora song in general, but perhaps the best arrangement of instrumentals on this concert, brings out the best of it. It also pairs very well in the concert, with her cover of "Walking in the air" that follows. Both are very dreamy/fantasy-like and kind of sad, but the first is more introvert and complex, while the second is more simple and outrovert, as if it was too tiresome to be fully depressed.
It is interesting Nina, that you say that this song has a medieval feel. Yet for the official video of the song, Aurora chose to be very modern and she is filmed being wrapped in a cocoon by three drones. Here is the official video and also a video showing the making of the official video (a collaboration between Aurora, her production team and the Robotics Department of Carnegie Mellon University), (th-cam.com/video/dje_iREAlUA/w-d-xo.html), (th-cam.com/video/xcVoS6DpFf8/w-d-xo.html). I hope that you can find the time to watch and enjoy them.
Hello Nina Schofield I like to request BAND-MAID ‘Don't you tell ME’ official live video please! Could you also give me a shoutout for introducing them to you? BAND-MAID is an all female Japanese hard rock/metal band that dresses up as cafe maids 😆But these ladies are no joke and play harder than the guys most of the time. These ladies have 40M views on reaction channels alone so If you don’t mind thousands of rock and metal heads coming to your channel you may want to check em out!
Have a lovely day everyone! If you can hear any random noises in the background it's my dog Walter making his presence known :)

Aurora singing is just so enchanting! Such a special soul and ability to transmit her feelings through her songs!
Totally agree!
It's been such a delight to have followed Aurora for the last eight years and see where she is now, and then revisit her earlier work and remember how she struck me the first time. Love from Norway Nina.
I love winter bird! And when she sings the vocal parts right before "my tears are always frozen" sounds like the fluttering wings of a bird

Great reaction as always Nina👍
I looove this song and performance, I also love the music video😍
Aurora's new album will be released 07 june!! It is named "What happened to the heart" ❤
16 songs! 3 of them are released.
Amazing Aurora song and reaction. I loved it :)
Ps. You asked for favorite song from this concert. Whole concert is magic, but I think my favorite is Lucky :).
For some reason this song reminds me of the the epic poem, "Rime of the ancient mariner". Maybe because it's an epic performance.
I cant even tell you how many times Ive watched this entire concert. So great 🤎
Love your reaction and analyse ❤
Aurora gives me the same feeling on folk and medieval.
She got a version of
Scarborough Fair.
As far as her songs go, I can't pick a favorite. But, one thing I know for certain Nina, YOU are my favorite! 💗 As always, you have brightened my day. Hope you have a wonderful day! (Also, I love your earrings). You are more beautiful than the year is long!!
i gave it up, the seek of a favorite aurora song. good to have you back. and she is about to release a new album in june.

I think that the timing of the choir "F" you mentioned is quite genius and adds a lot of feel to it.

@@RunarNyrud Look at her video for ‘Winter Bird’ lots of the other kind of drones in that one!
@@dlbwoodbury Yes.... that was my point 😁
This Aurora concert I watched last year. This watching had a very strong influence on me, and I had a headache for a whole day after watching it. Just wanted to share my impression.
❤❤❤ Peace and love from Bavaria!

I like your reaction but too much interuption to want to watch....you Will learn i guess...
To much into your own wisdome. We are not stupid you know.... into your selve's Knowles.... we all Knowles and lissen
At this point AURORA could be filmed on the tube slagging off a Neo Nazi and Nino would say it’s the greatest thing she has heard from her.
