Try 45 the bottom of your timbers for your risers Ryan, it will save you a tonne of work (you will be able to trowel or mag underneath them while pouring) Also if you can spray the inside of your form with diesel prior to pouring or even use formply (marine ply) few little tricks that are guaranteed to help you 🇦🇺

I have to say that I can understand people saying having junior is a waste of money because from a strictly business standpoint he isn't the most productive employee. Assuming you pay him a reasonable wage which I have no doubt you do, it would be tough to justify having him with the company. That said I commend you for employing him and think it's great. It gets him up and going and he has purpose. I don't know what his situation is nor do I care to guess or speculate. But I myself have an older brother who isn't diagnosed as autistic, but a similar disorder. He's relatively high functioning, but not entirely home all the time. He works part time with a landscaping company. Hes capable of running a push mower, running wheel barrels about and the like. He certainly isn't making the company rich, at least not monetarily. But he does bring a great attitude that rubs off on everyone around him. I've been watching your videos for a little while now and love them. You guys do some amazing work. I'm a carpenter but have had some time doing formwork and some basic concrete deck landings, small pads and the like. But I've never met a concrete guy as laid back as you are! Those guys of yours are lucky man!

To think we used to get those pickle buckets free then an occasional employee would hit us up for a few bucks for their own pocket, Then things took off from there and the word was then the restaurant it`s self wanted paid for the buckets which used to be free and soon it was $5 a bucket, What a scam. Soon we were raiding dumpsters on job sites to get buckets but had to clean them out all because of someone getting greedy.
Ryan I just saw on a CG Schmidt job in Milwaukee they had small remote controlled concrete pumps. The unit itself had to only be 3 1/2’ wide and maybe 5’ long and probably 3’ tall. All controlled by a handheld controller. They were using on to pour a floor two stories underground in a basement.
Really angers me when people make comments about someone.. obviously he isn't the world's greatest star.. but there is more to a person then that. People need to be grown and have some compassion.. because let me tell ya.. your life can turn in a second.. and the shoe could be on the other foot.

You dont necessarily need to buy a pump. When we have a really difficult job like that, we'll just rent a line pump for that day (about 400$ in VA). We've got a super small crew, so the pump is really helpful

Ryan, I'm proud that you let Jr. work. I think he is learning and wants to do more. You should challenge him in a diet for the season. If he loses more weight than you, he gets 1000.00 dollar bonus. Maybe start bringing in salads, hard-boil eggs and grilled chicken for you and him. Push him to work a little harder each week, so he can build up his strength and stamina. You dont necessarily need to buy a pump. When we have a really difficult job like that, we'll just rent a line pump for that day (about 400$ in VA). We've got a super small crew, so the pump is really helpful

Ryan, I'm proud that you let Jr. work. I think he is learning and wants to do more. You should challenge him in a diet for the season. If he loses more weight than you, he gets 1000.00 dollar bonus. Maybe start bringing in salads, hard-boil eggs and grilled chicken for you and him. Push him to work a little harder each week, so he can build up his strength and stamina. Your amazing, Ryan and team, and glad to watch this upcoming season.

Awesome work Ryan! You should find any of the equipment you use on Amazon, become an affiliate, and post the links to the products either in a pinned comment or the video description. Even your camera equipment and stuff. Literally anything in the videos. Then do a short plug in the video like "if yall like the stuff I use or want to check out the products I use, feel free to check the description" It will help with the growth of your channel and give you a monetary kickback. Just a thought though, take it or leave it. Keep up the great work guys!
