Ollie, your videos helped me build up the confidence to get a transplant. Thank you for being so transparent and for sharing all your progress! It's been so helpful. You are a gem. Your hair looks amazing, by the way, hope mine eventually looks like yours! Much love, from Ireland.
Hey! Thanks for the nice message! I'm glad they helped in a small way. I think it's all about getting that confidence and than having realistic expectations. Good luck with it all.
I love how honest this transplant vlog is, by the 6th month mark most other ht vloggers hide the hairline with good lighting whereas Ollie is straight outside! Do you think Curtains would be possible after this transplant? You could also try the slicked back look as that would help the density at the front. :)
ha thanks! I don't think curtains will be possible, however, i'd be curious to know once it gets a bit longer. My hair is quite thin which I think is an issue.
@@ollielevido7407 Thanks for the response, just thought curtains might work given how your hair looks when brushed forward, it's as if your hair was longer you'd be able to pull it off. Who knows!
Really awesome result. I think the density is actually amazing, looks really natural outside imo. I've got the same thin/light hair and SO appreciate you sharing your journey with everyone. Cheers from the USA.
Great results. What a nice job. I did my hair transplant too a month ago. Your videos really helped me with some concerns I had. Thanks 🙏🏽 keep going like that ! 🔥
Hi Ollie, Thank you so much for addressing each of those questions that so many of us are concerned about when we think & research hair transplants. I'd have your transplanted hairline anyday it's fantastic & so natural looking. I could not pick it. I'm so happy you've not suffered any permanent numbness & loss of any sensation. The density of your hairline is also perfect in my eyes & it's not too thick. A thick hairline can look unnatural like you've a hairpiece on so it's been done extremely well. I'm impressed. You're the first person to address the texture of your transplanted hair & this was interesting to listen to what you had to say. The colour of your recipient scalp has returned to normal which is terrific. Your sideburns look fine if that's the way you wear your hair & if in the future you want to wear it short l wouldn't worry about it too much but if it still concerns you it would be only a minor procedure. As I've stated in earlier comments I'm so happy that your hair transplant has been done so well & you're satisfied. As you are well aware watching your hair fall out is painful so it's a feel good journey your videos. I'm watching your videos on my smart TV. l can't give your videos a thumbs up on it so I've to go to my phone. I'm loving watching your South American videos you're a very amusing character. Fancy getting into Brazil without a return ticket! I'm looking forward to your future videos. Please..try to do them you've a great personality & I'm sure there's enormous interest. Best wishes, Richard.
Yeah, I totally agree with all your comments. I am happy with the density and what not of the hairline. Yeah, I am considering getting a minor procedure to fix up the temple area. Shouldn't be too long or costly. Aww thanks for liking and supporting, it means a lot. I wish I did more videos in South America.... If I had my time over, they would have been more fun, longer, and more informative.... Like there were so many times I should have filmed when I didn't... anyways. I want to start vlogging or whatever you call it again, so hearing you say you're interested is nice. I might be heading back there at the end of the year, so watch this space!
Hi Ollie, I've subscribed to your channel. The hair transplant journey of yours has been extremely interesting. You'll get alot of views on your nineth month video. On your South American adventures those videos were so well done & enjoyable to watch. I'm watching all of them. It's a part of the World Australians tend to ignore but the footage you've shot has been so interesting. Film everywhere you go if it's not too aduous & time consuming because they're fun to watch & you've an enjoyable personality. I'll certainly be watching! Best Wishes, Richard.
How are you getting on? I am 6 months post surgery after 3000 grafts. I am happy with the general growth and hairline but hope it gets a little denser.
Thanks for your vids! One comment.. I have heard a few times that using a hair drier with heat is bad for the health of the hair. Using the "cool" mode is way better, and best is to just lightly towel dry.
Did you ever come back to Brazil? I left USA and now live in Brazil with my Brazilian boyfriend. I started watching your videos when you lived here in Brazil.
I’ve heard that for a while after the transplant, the hair may not grow out the way it did before (like with your curly hair) but over time it should grow normally!
Hi great video informative and reassuring..im at 9month and have thin patches im hoping it keeps improving and thickens up has yours continued to thicken up since this video thanks for the upload
Ah awesome! and how are you feeling? I remember at 5 months I was like, HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE. But it really starts between 5-6 and then from 7 onwards when it grows a bit more. Thanks for watching
Thanks Ollie, going alright so far not as much progress as I would have hoped for at this stage but thanks for this hoping hair gets thicker now. I have very fine blonde hair on top and thicker light brown hair on back and sides which doesn't help the appearance but a few more months I'm sure will be a bit better. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it so must be a lot better anyway!
Look into scalp micro pigmentation (tattoos) on your scalp. It can help with appearance of density a lot. Could also get a smaller touch up transplant, but the SMP would be very cheap and offer immediate results.
@@ollielevido7407 Yeah, I'm 4 months post op, good growth, and I know 6 + months is when I will get a true idea of how it turned out, but in case density is lacking at that point, SMP would be a fast and cheap way to basically make it look much more dense. If you ever applied hair fibers or concealer makeup to boost density, it's similar principle. A lot of the white of your scalp will be covered by somewhat 3D looking hair follicle dots inked into your skin. Blends in super well.
I would like to recommend u the modern mullet haircut style. Im at 5 month of FUE transplanted. After do some research, that haircut the most suitable for u
Great videos mate. Just had mine done in Turkey. It’s itching like Fk. I know they’re all different but I’ve got a wash at the clic on my 10th day to remove the scabs. I’ll have laser and minoxidil too after a few weeks/months along with PRP. Have you had prp? What shampoo are you using?
Hi Ollie, Love your updates, followed every one. Have u thought about cutting it short again? The lenght in the 4 mounth video didnt make me notes the hairline not beeing a rainforect. I mean as you said, yes u have hair, but not as when u where young young. Mabe short is for u? Looking forward to more updates :)
Hey Viktor! Hmmm, I have thought about getting it cut, but not short at this stage, i really don't know why haha.. I'm going to get it cut next week and see what the barber or hair dresser says would look good haha. Thanks for watching
7:35 thats exactly how I would wear my hair. Is it easy to see through in natural light? it looks on camera that its less see through with the hair down but idk in person
I'm on 9 month mark, however my result is not that good and my Dr. mentioned the late scab removal and some dry dandruff/scab issues post 4-5 months of the FUE. However he has assured that the follicles damaged due to late scab removal and dryness would sprout soon and my result would be better in 4-5 months. Keeping my fingers crossed. Has anyone experienced late scabs and dryness issues post op?
@@oveemist I washed them thoroughly for 7-8 days but 30% were still there and became very hard to go away, even after strong pressure. So I just left em as it is. However took care of those after 2 months when it started creating huge inconvenience and itching on the scalp. I know it was bad on my side and hopefully it won’t impact the result

Yep, the surgeon definitely didn't do it right. The sides are generally left alone as the hair is difficult to make natural because it's finer. To leave gaps like that is unforgivable in my opinion.

Thanks for the comment. Overall, I'm happy because it looks better than what I had before. Yes, there are a few things that could be better, but there may come a time when I want to get that looked at. I think it's a bit harsh to say it was a bad transplant though lol.
