[Verse 1]
I could tell you the story of a vagabond
A playboy of the western world
One day by chance he came upon
A fair young maid, a country girl
[Verse 2]
He told her that he loved her
And he took all of her silver
He told her that he needed her too
He said "Hey baby, you got eyes of blue"
[Pre-Chorus]
But he was a vagabond
[Chorus]
Blue eyes, oh baby blue, oh blue eyes
The kind of eyes that say "I do" eyes
Oh baby blue, oh blue eyes
Oh baby blue, oh blue eyes

Imagine being 47 and just now really discovering Thin Lizzy. Like a fucking supernova.
Got jailbreak in 76, loved this band, I bought the whole back catalogue and this Album completely drew me in, Eric's playing is off the chart 📈 loved em then, love em still.🍀🍀🍀👍
Just sitting here ,this song just came into my mind haven’t listened to this in about 20 years brilliant songs tend to do that ,,Lizzy forever ❤
Same thing just happened to me..came into my head from nowhere.
Worked at a radio station when this came out, in HS - As a go fee; go for this, go for that, HA - They came to the Radio Station to do an on air interview - Was in the control booth, during the interview - Scott Gorham, Brian Downey & Phil Lynott - Was 15, at the time..
I rember back in 73 i bougt this a new album of a new trio Thin Liizzy
My very first album and still one of my favourites! Great band!
Nightlife was great too.
@@Scott_works sure it was great!
You set the standard high with this one!!
@@sojourner650 Yes I do! My first LP back in 1972! Played it over hundred times at that time. Nice memories
Phil singing a song of his absent father, charmed, seduced and left his mother, gave her a baby boy (Phil); his father was "busy running wild and free, make sure he grow up like me" (yep, Phil turned out pretty wild and free)
Eric Bell in peak form, Brian Downey as always a beast on the drums, Phil sings so well but don't forget his bass playing he is one of the greats, and the arrangement shows the musicality of the band, they knew how to put it all together
A Fools Journey... Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Rai 💕💔👋
I'm on a Thin Lizzy binge with no end in sight
🤘🤠👍
The greatest "binge" that matters
I have been in that binge for near 50 years...no end in sight...always fighting my way back...
@@Jupiterbotz 🎶"Like thunder and lightning

It hits you like a hammer
Goddamn"🎶
Sounds awesome!
Such an iconic voice
Etched in my soul. I long for any semblance of embrace.
I loved this song when I was in High School. It was like my theme song. I loved Eric's solo, and was disappointed when he left the group.
Thin Lizzy - Vagabonds of the Western World, Nightlife
Captain Beyond - Captain Beyond and Sufficiently Breathless
Great band 😊I can feel the funk and the rock
I don't know why,but i feel this track sounds like 70's heavy metal unlike the other ones from the album.
Sounds like a Sabbath song.
