Nice one, Ani. It would have been worth having a brief explanation of how DR is calculated, cos most people don't seem to know. Finishing position > Overtakes !
Great tips!👍 I would like to share my routine of improving lap times. First thing I do is watching replay of someone from top of the leaderboard. Than I drive about 100-200 Km by myself, and than watch the replay again. You can see a lot of difference between the way they drive compare to you this way and note those differences. So you just getting back to watch one replay over and over again every 100-200 Km of your own driving.
For low DR like me (Low B) I recommend doing circuit experience to Gold for the track you want to race. Use demonstration and demonstration ghost for help. Once you have that on gold go to global 100 and look for slowest replays as some of the top ones are so aggressive/slidey it's hard to replicate sometimes. I'd say for top C DR you need to be 4-6 sec of top time. In B I'm finding you need to be 2-4 sec of top time to compete. If you can't achieve those times you will not be consistent, you'll end up making desperate moves and just destroy your own race. You can have really good races at C/S ranks so enjoy it and don't just try to get to a certain rank....there's no magic there. Don't race from the back on low ranks as there is too much carnage. People that put time in to the lap are most likely ones that will race with you properly.
@@WindGT7 That's why I said for low DR. It's an easy way to practice a specific sector like s1 of Micheline Raceway. If you're in low DR and can't get gold on circuit experience no point trying to emulate top time. I think It's a good base to start polishing your lap time and you get loads of GT7 credits for it. It's amazing for learning green hell. You're very skilled and take your abilities for granted a little. There are levels to trail breaking/steering and so on. Sometimes I put yours or Tidgney lap on to see what you're doing and I'm still unable to break as late or to put power down as early and so on.
I do something similar - if I'm not within 3 sec of the top 200th time, as a low B I just know I'm going to struggle on that particular race so don't bother much that week or try a different race.
Great tips! But you still get killed by other greedy racers that under cut, ram you and then you get a penalty,… it get old after while! We need the reporting system back in play!
great tips there wind one to add from myself for those that are on pad and don't have a wheel pratice the dallies in your own lobby espaccly if it tyre race or something like that that way you can work out what car will work for you and what won't. watching streamers like yourself or rory or even my own teammates can help me out too and have to a point where im now not far behind them (you can ask anyone i was one of the slowest in the team by a long way) but the most important thing ill say is watch tidgney race guides each week does a lap guide and genrally has his ghoast up for you to follow too it also gives you a rough idea what the races will be like or just watch streamers in live time and im pretty sure they will more than happy to answers any questions you have. but a good video more or less and fresh of breath air from someone who is increadbly quick giving tips to people who arnt as fast or want to gain more dr keep it up mate well done :)
Agree to all learning tool stated from your video. I like watching top rated driver like you, Antonio so I could learn how to drive consistently in the race. Good video
My issue is being inconsistent. I've been ahead of some top lap times for a sector or two then I'll mess up. In a race I'll be in the top 5 or the lead then I'll crash or go off track.
Good to get some tips from a top level driver!🏎️💨 I’m halfway through making a similar vid from a new player perspective! Also good luck in official I will be rooting for ya!🏆
I just started playing sport today, got my g29 last night. First day and I'm currently EA. I needed a breather after making too many risky maneuvers that cost me my positioning.
What I hate about GT7 is that once you complete like 11th your rating can go down badly. At the same time it increases little by little even if you offten on podium

Yes I forgot about that, but thanks for the feedback

I think Circuit Experience is a waste of time to be honest

watching streamers like yourself or rory or even my own teammates can help me out too and have to a point where im now not far behind them (you can ask anyone i was one of the slowest in the team by a long way)
but the most important thing ill say is watch tidgney race guides each week does a lap guide and genrally has his ghoast up for you to follow too it also gives you a rough idea what the races will be like or just watch streamers in live time and im pretty sure they will more than happy to answers any questions you have.

I go from D to C and back again depending on the track and who bumps me off the track.
Thanks

Is there a consensus of how high or competitive you can be with a controller Vs those on driving rigs?
People have qualified for live events with controller so no
