Lavalier microphones aren't distracting and they improve the audio of your videos SO much. I love mine. Great video. I hadn't thought of asking for a shadow day with a potential preceptor but now I will. BTW, you have such a great on-screen presence. Keep up the good work.
Hi Bree, I am a senior FNP student. I have the opportunity to shadow my dream job in dermatology. How many hours/days should I shadow? How can I sell myself for a possible job offer once I graduate?
What is your goal and what did you ask her for? Was it a “I’d love to just see what you do to see if it’s for me” or was it a request for shadow day interview bc they have an opening?
I would do a half or full day but not beyond that. I would feel her out but probably ultimately ask if they have openings if if she has tips for finding a derm job. Watch the video I made on how to sell yourself. Create a calling card on Canva, have a portfolio ready in case they were to ask.

@@BreeJuskowiak it is not a shadow interview for a job opening. I emailed her just requesting to shadow to get an insight of what the job entails.
