Wooow, Shogun scrap. For sure my favourite for vanilla multiplayer battles, was the first game that really got me interested in taking Multiplayer fights 'seriously' and I think the Avatar conquest was a big part of that.
A Shogun 2 stream would be super awesome! If you need any help or advise to get into Avatar Conquest (cause I know it can be confusing) hit me up :) Also thanks for covering the replay!
One thing Ive noticed is that even players w/ 3k hours in Shogun 2 dont seem to realize that shooting a unit which is in the woods confers at least a 50% reduction in accuracy. shooting out* of the woods has no penalty. you can see in the video archers shooting at units in the woods but its basically useless due to the severe accuracy penalty.
There is a good movie about the fall of the Samurais, its called "the last samurai" i think its even free available on TH-cam if you want to watch a great movie about Samurai. I also know some other movies about that theme, but i dont know their names anymore
always loved shogun 2. I am a fan of the movie 'the last samurai' so as a kid i loved to do a custom battle with the gatling guns hahaha. Only sad thing about this game are the siege battles. I never understood why the game has a timer of 15minutes if i'm not wrong and you couldn't change it.

That blue faction charging his cav into the teeth of the guns gave me some real Charge of the Light Brigade vibes. It worked out about as well too.

C4 and Trebor on one team, definitely expected them to sweep, although Khan is also one of the best players I’ve ever fought.
