Future plans is to have you rebuild the LT1 motor in my Caprice to a nice conservative 355cid. I got older, I prefer highway cruising and still like a little stop light action and get her on the dyno.
My 94 Caprice 9C1 has been sitting in the garage not running for 6 years now because of the stupid optispark crashed. I will wait longer to get the TorqueHead system instead of getting another optispark distributor. The stock LT1 is all stock except for Hooker headers and bigger dual exhaust system.
I have not noticed. The cars usually always run smoother because the opti or other ignition things were not helping in the old set up. The swap to TH gets a fresh set plugs and wires and so a strong reliable ignition.
I was curious as well. Iv been running my opti since 2010 on my 94 impala 🤞 Ac Delco lives up to its name, the back up has been on standby & well, they certainly do not make em like they use to. Rock on 😎 💯🇺🇸
I'm sold on it . as soon as funds permit I'm buying the Torqhead kit for my 94 firebird.

I can't wait...
for the fueling fix?
@@EllweinEngines to order the TorqHead
Nice, I’m currently blueprinting a 96 ZZ4 putting a 144 supercharger on it, should be a good toy when done
Nice 👍
Fast blinker is a burned out bulb
Ok so what exhaust was in that? That's a sweet sound. The camaro I mean. Around 16:20 in the video is what I would love to hear from mine.
Oh yes! It is a clean custom set up. Long tube Kooks headers and dual 3" to dumps right at the rear axle. The muffs? I don't know the brand,
@@EllweinEngines for curiosity sake, you guys do rebuilds? I'm not that familiar with Ellwein.
I do do rebuilds but not until around July. I'm getting behind on current customers. Check www.ellweinengines.com
When can I come out and visit?
any day after 2pm and any weekend. :)
If you guys are that close you'all should invest in a dyno, Tyler and Karl!!
That’s a very nice f body! Do you tune maf and ve separately?
Not always. Depends on each car. I spend a lot more time on MAF and then do a few tweaks on VE to make sure it is in the ballpark.
Are you noticing an increase in power from replacing the opti to the TorqHead and the PCM upgrade @Karl? Im may do the switch once my opti givesway.

Did you get the idle down by adjusting the TB screw?
Yes. exactly. That was the fix.
Is that a line lock or a nitrous switch on that shift handle you like Karl?
I don't know what it's for. I think it is unused at this time.
Hey Karl what do you charge to tune my LT1 car with a fully built LT1 with EFI Connections 24x, M6?
Give me a text at 410-474-5579 and I can reply better there. thanks.
Are you running 1 coil-per-cylinder the Optispark ??if yes, HOW?? thanks
No. No opti spark. the 1 coil per cyl. TorqHead system
Where are u located

How much does a setup like that cost?
About $1700 for the works. The PCM, wiring, crank hub, signal kit, coils.
@@EllweinEngines thank you so much for replying, I’m wanting to rebuild my 96
@@EllweinEngines man that alot I’m thinking of just 350 swapping mine and efi, cuz ls swap ls is expensive too
Would love to get this done to my lt1 where are u located
I'm down in Southern Maryland south of DC. Solomons Island Area.
Does this support air conditioning?
