Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto activation on Kia Sportage 2020-2021

- Activate Wireless Android car / Apple CarPlay on Kia Sportage QL (4)
Go to Settings - General - Version INFO update - update section twice we have to tap on the left 6 times, and on the right side tap once. It can be repeated for the third row or even the fourth time until it enters the secret menu.
In Engineer Mode we tap 2400
Then acces Coding Variant and type 1200
Afterwards, we must enter the list on the left in CPU Variant and type CPU config 2 and then press Apply in the top menu.
The unit will reboot and then on the right side we tap in the “Connect a phone projection device via USB or Wireless. We choose the phone projection - Add - Add New device we will activate bluetooth on the phone and choose “Kia Motors” and the related code will appear. Then we accept those options and accept Siri (in the case of iOS), Ok, then the Apple CarPlay menu appears and enters our latest application. - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
Sucesfuly enabled wifi Android Auto on my Kia Sportage gen. 4 (2021) today simply by following your instructions 👍
Everything works perfectly well, and I'm totally stunned with the fact that KIA is hiding this for some reason.

@@kaoutlisoufiane2499 It doesn't matter what phone you use. I'm on Galaxy S22 Ultra, but I've used iPhone 12 pro and Huawei P30 pro to connect wirelesly to the AndroidAuto and CarPlay. It works :)
@@Mustaciosul I was thinking about that, but i highly doubt it. It's nothing but playing arround with settings of the car media system. That menu is hidden, but it's still possible to use it without any restrictions and warnings, and I'm pretty sure there is no log of when that change is made..
Btw, with latest AndroidAuto versions, wireless AA works flawlessly :)

I can't believe this has worked but on my Kia Sportage 2020 both Android Auto and CarPlay is working wirelessly.
my Sportage's engineering mode didn't need a passcode and it only had a few options available in each menu. How do I get to this menu you're in? Did I do something wrong?

Hi I tried the code and it works only on Appel CarPlay, on Android it gave me a message: wirless phone projetion is not support and place enable Wi-FI and Bluetooth on the Andoid Auto.

Are you running an older software or the latest update? Engineering mode on QLPE.AUS.SOP.V096.190701.DAU_ has CPU variant coding etc but not the list of CPU config profiles. Any other way on this software? Or should I try and change software to match yours?

I have a Kia K5 2021 and can not get it be consistently connected. I am at my whits end. Kia says they may need to replace the whole stereo system. This sucks. Any ideas.

Sorry I did a mistake in my other message. When I do CPU VARIANT it is BTU NAME DEFAULT, BTU NAME 1 , BTU NAME 2 , BTU NAME 3 AND BTU NAME 4. I don t undestand. Why It s not CPU CONFIG who appear ?

Unfortunately Apple CarPlay is disconnecting while driving and navigating. Android auto no problem.

Hi, I followed all the steps by activating the options displayed on the engineering mode, but finally I received an error msg that there is a failure to connect when I click on connect, do you have any idea to get around this error please
Also I cannot find this option at the station level "use the projection of the phone during the wifi connection" is it necessary for the wifi projection to work? Note that I have a 2021 Kia Sportage
Try with another android phone or an iPhone. Activate wifi & bluetooth
