As a Christian I’ve grown up being taught about how being gay is a sin and god will send me to hell if i am gay. It scared me thinking of burning in hell so I tried my best to hide my true self, but after a few years I had enough and completely broke trying so hard to be something I’m not I came out to my parents and they were not happy about that so they kicked me out and disowned me. Now I’m living happily with my boyfriend

I think that is where some people get homophobia wrong. Most people view it as just believing being gay is a sin where others view it as being terrified to be around a gay person. I think that is where some people get homophobia wrong. Most people view it as just believing being gay is a sin where others view it as being terrified to be around a gay person. I think you can believe being gay is wrong without being homophobic.
