Thanks guys, I’m a big time amateur so I’ll take your word for it and give it a go. However, I do have to mention, the first time I played this deck I won with Storm Herd 😂.
We aren't huge fans of pillowfort enchantments in spellslinger decks since it dilutes the strategy, but we like those effects on spells, basically anything better than Aetherize
If the budget goes a little wider, I wouldn't mind putting in Medallions to reduce the cost of spells. Always good to get Sevinne out earlier with enough mana left behind to protect him.
@@MyNameHidden123 I don't intend to build Sevinne as pure spellsling, so generic cost reduction could prove beneficial than just instant/sorcery, but of course those would be included also. I feel that one benefit of "grave"spells" is that they could be reused, especially with Sevinne copying them, so having less spells in deck allow me to use more permanents.
Hey guys, a couple of things you might consider to up your game in the MTG TH-cam community: your voices are on the same low level of volume as the music in the background. Bring the microphones a bit closer OR speak louder OR lower music volume OR remove music. The editing on the video is pretty good, but the video is still hard to look at due to all the flickering. I don't know much about green screens but it's definitely something you should look into if you wish to grow bigger and faster. As for the upgrades, out of all the upgrade videos on Sevinne I could find this one was the most helpful to me. I would like to see a Gerrard deck with reasonable budget and possible upgrades in the future, and I hope you guys grow big. Just keep the jokes rolling, not every MTG channel on this website needs to be trying to appeal to WoTC and their family-friendly policies.
before watching: please put in WAR Ral, he is a win con with sevinne out and refuse//cooperate or increasing vengeance in your yard. (also just generally guttersniping people is neat.) Edit: Yeah fireminds research is what i put in too (i will use the gameday promo, not my pre release promo or normal one... i opened it a lot.) ´ no mission briefing or beacon bolt? huh, just so much to upgrade :D
@@NitpickingNerds Sevinne the Chronoclasm looks like a Flashback value commander who uses Damage based board wipes , but it's actually an extra-turns-i-win combo commander in disguise. Sevinne the Comboclasm if you will. hehe With Time Warp, Mystic Retrieval, and Pull From Eternity in your graveyard and a way to produce 5RUUW mana, you can combo off for the win if you have Sevinne in play. So essentially, you flashback the Mystic Retrieval which returns the Time Warp to your hand, but it's copied by Sevinne so you also get the Pull From Eternity as well. You cast the time warp, and pass the turn to yourself. On your second turn, you draw a card, cast Pull From Eternity on the Mystic Retrieval in exile, and return it to your graveyard. Then you cast the Time Warp to get an extra turn. On that extra turn all three cards are back in your graveyard, and you are back at the beginning of this paragraph. I don't have to explain how to win once you're taking infinite turns :-) The key strength of the combo that gets overlooked is this: it survives Counterspell, and even survives getting the good pieces exiled from your graveyard, since Pull can just get them back. It's a really resilient combo! Archaeomancer and Ephemerate offer a second combo with Time Warp, but that one is less awesome, since it's fairly well known. PS I run two tutors in my deck: Mystical Tutor and the new Solve the Equation, but those are expensive. I also run as many instant speed things as possible, including 4 instant speed board wipes, and a ton of instant speed draw. The gameplan is to sit there, and say "pass" taking the shortest turns in the game until suddenly BAM. I win :D

Hahaha same
I would personally add a few pillow fort Enchantments and add Wild Reasearch to the deck. But I'm also not to worried about discarding cards at random

@@NitpickingNerds there are a lot of go wide decks in my play group. So it's really more of a meta adjustment
Kykar is also a good toss in for the deck. Gets tokens and can use said tokens for mana.
When they shit on pramikon, but it's an amazing prison commander and a great card in general

I feel like Baral, Jace's Sanctum, Primal Amulet and Goblin Electromancer are a better fit though

what combo?

Got destroyed by Zetalpa in a recent game. Definitely not meant to be in this deck lol
