When I was a kid in 2005, I found a pretty beaten up original Corgi Golden Hawk at a model shop near where I live for £10. At the time I didn't really care it was in poor shape, I just liked the idea of owning something from the past. The funny thing is I just recently got it out to have a look at it, and here you are with a video of the re-release.
How did i miss this ? Love the gold colour . Nice to see you collection growing . Thanks for the show and tell .
My first car was a 1959 Morris Minor station wagon with real wood paneling
great video Jules, collection is fairly coming along !
Although I've got a substantial collection, some 250 plus original 1960's Corgi's this one the Oldsmobile Staff Car I don't have in my collection so it is nice to see it turn up in the Corgi Model Club reproductions. I always thought that Corgi missed a trick in not producing the Oldsmobile Super 88 with Tran's o Lite head and tail lights like the Buick Riviera.
Nice video I got my Bentley continent sports saloon I like it
This is great. Just bought a few. Hope you get a commission.
Those look premium mate. I thought M2 Machines were as good as it gets but these Corgis blow them out of the water. 🙂Though it looks like the body is only metal and the chassis is plastic? Even so the suspension and smoothness more than make up for it. I hope for one of them they make it orange and white with a penguin logo on the side. 🙂
Hey Jules, can I ask, where did you obtain the perspex display steps that you have your Corgi Model Club models displayed on in your cabinet?
