I read the complete series when I was at school in the seventies, and continued reading in the army.
They do stay with you and are a great series to get into! Must have been great reading them as they were being published.
I have fond memories reading these books when I was about 12 - way too young! Must have a re-read for nostalgia's sake - lovely vid, thanks for doing it.
My pleasure! I was reading Pan horror books when I was twelve but these would have had the same impact!
Congrats on the completion . A fine series . Spot on, on the spoiler on the violence . Not for the squeamish .But make mine L'Amour, Eddison , Grey , Tuttle and others .

Great video! As a kid, when I used to see Edge novels in every bookshop, used bookshop and charity shop I went into. It was only a year or so ago that I read my first Edge book. It was great. I’m starting to pick them up here and there. Very violent but good, mean, nasty fun. And some of the corny one liners had me laughing out loud or groaning😄. And they are quick reads.
Great stuff, you might be surprised how quickly you get through them. grab them when you see them, especially those tail end issues.

I've read the first book, and loved it. I'm on the second one now, and also really enjoying it. Looking forward to reading the whole series. I'm glad you've covered it on your channel. I wish Amazon had pressed forward with the TV adaptation. Perhaps if more people discover the series?
It's true, maybe Amazon or someone else might give it a try. Not sure who might push for it now Harknett has passed.
As you presented, I enjoy the Edge series. I have 11 of them where only 2 of them are New English Library. Loved the show.
Understood, I wonder if you have the USA editions? Those tended to gave much better artwork jackets than the UK editions. They stopped being published over there around volume 44 or 45'i think.
I was always surprised that none of the Edge stories were never made into a film .
Apart from the Amazon pilot a few years back nothing. Doesn't make sense to me😔

Nice, good luck finding the last few, definitely the tougher ones. I missed out on a set of The Undertaker books, they had faded spines but went for £19.99, a bargain I think🙂

I knew Terry (George Gilman) in fact I was responsible for originally brining Edge to eBook. Only the first one though not the typo full ones

You're a stickler for reading books in order. So ... what happens when you reach the Edge/Steele crossover books? Do you start reading Adam Steel #1 and work your way up to the crossover?
I'll read these at the end, after the main run. I don't think the crossovers are referred to in the main series, unless you know different?
Hunting down the first few books now, really looking forward to reading these stories.
