Looks great Justin!! Thanks for sharing. The frame rate makes your movement look like stop motion it’s cool. Keep it up, excited to see your next notebook
Thanks! I know that feeling well. It’s difficult for me to start in a nice new sketchbook. I just received a new notebook that I’m going to use for inktober and I’m looking forward to really messing that one up. Thanks for watching!
I hear you. 66 and after 30+ years as a graphic designer trying teach to myself to draw again. Question is where to start? You've simplified it for me, head and hands is a good place to start,
While smudging with your finger to shade is frowned upon by art teachers, I think it helps you engage with your art more. It doesnt limit you to the pencil. Although my art teacher told me it doesnt help you improve:/ For a first sketchbook I'd say it's beautiful, keep up the great work!
Thanks for commenting. I’ve also heard not to use fingers. I’m sure that’s proper technique. Some of my favorite artists use smudge sticks with graphite and I don’t have one, so I used the next best thing.
Ohmygosh thank you for sharing this! It was amazing, and that trip sounds so fun!!! 😊
Thank you for watching. The trip was incredible!
Switching to the pen definitely looked like a game changer for you. So cool to see your style evolve throughout this sketchbook
I felt the same way. This sketchbook taught me so much. Can’t wait to post the next. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching and letting me know about the frame rate. I think I would rather have smooth motion. I’m new to video and didn’t realize.
Great work! I have yet to finish a sketchbook..... so proud of you for sharing your work with us!
Thanks so much. It felt like an accomplishment. I look forward to sharing more!
Nice sketchbook. I'm afraid i'll mess up my Moleskine so instead i bought some cheap sketchbooks that i can ruin.

I’m happy to hear you’re drawing again. You won’t regret the time you will spend and the skill you will earn. Thanks for watching. Good luck!
