They DESTROYED Our Woodland Homes!

  • Alright ledge cakes ?
So, the inevitable happened …. Our bushcraft shelters have been destroyed …. Chopped into tiny pieces and left all over the forest floor….
It couldn’t be any more ironic… I had a chat with my friends Ben and Ell last week and we decided to take down our shelters as it was always built as a “winter camp”… the woods started picking up some more traffic so we thought best to move on… the lads took their shelters down on the weekend and I went out solo camping to dismantle my shelter aswel…. As if by magic … it was done for me.
I also spend a bit of time in this video with @JakesJourneyMate … he is cooler than
Wrigleys Extra so if you don’t know him already go and give his channel some love he makes some beautiful adventure / outdoors content in his van, on his motorbike … out hiking… canoeing and more.
Cheers for watching !! Don’t forget to subscribe if you likes the video and would like to see more ! 👊💪🔥
Those that have asked to buy me a beer can donate to the channel here … it goes on beer, the food and bits of kit that I replace aswell as camera mics/tripods 💚👊

It’s a shame that in the uk we’re not allowed to do things like this out in the wood. Good on you for not giving up

You know we live in a strange country when people who aren't hurting anyone find themselves being treated like this, honestly find it odd they care this much considering the state of most city centres.

As you said I'm surprised it hadn't happened sooner, sadly not all of us have the same respect for nature so I don't blame the FC for taking down what they find I've seen some filthy sites after the dirty campers have been

When I saw the tent, I first thought that it was Polish or even Soviet production. I had to use such tents made of canvas they are very heavy. I heard that in the UK it is difficult to find a place for such things, since the population density is large and all the lands belong to someone. It is sad that now the international situation is tense and there are serious difficulties in moving citizens from the European Union , UK to Russia and vice versa. Here in Russia, even near Moscow, you can find very wild places. There you can build anything and most likely no one will ever destroy your buildings. I don’t know if it is possible near London, for example. There is paradise for Bushcraft. I even saw a small house built in the city of Moscow in the park. It is very bad what is happening now, because there could be such a type of tourism. Very interesting and unusual. Most often, foreigners visited Moscow in Russia, Petersburg, possibly Baikal, Trans -Siberian Railway. But very rarely they went to the forests to wild places. I had to see such twice. Once a German, and another time an Indonesian. The language barrier prevents. Few people know English here. And now, due to the war, for many years, this will, in principle, be impossible. very sad.

Hi guys I'm a new subscriber here, I'm also a chronic pain patient, I've got two bugout bag systems one is a hammock system and one is a tent system. I'm trying to work out the lightest and least painful system. So far I'm leaning more towards the hammock system for lightness (walking with weight is my biggest problem I should get a goat 😂) as I have made the hammock layered but light!, so Hammock + OneTigris winter hammock quilt + a super light LVkiss Down Camping blanket+ -5°c Down sleeping bag, 1 Tarp for overhead to keep the weight down. My tent system is a Coleman Coffin Tent It's very light but very small but I can hardly even sit upright and needs a fly sheet and decent camp bed. Also the ground can be crewel on the body if damp and cold leading to lots of pain the next day and decent camp beds are expensive! so I will have to look for a wood to setup which isn't so exposed and visible as a tent would be. The hammock system is already setup and rolled up into a compression bag to get it more compact to just roll out and hitch both ends up tarp over top and jobs a gooden for a very fast setup procedure, here's hoping 😅, I would love any tips or tricks or advice guys! Cheer's all!
