    Exact same sink and job has be done in friends restaurant. Not being in this trade i have say thanks so much. For not explaining and helping me to understand any of the repair, reason for it, products used, Or any detail that might help someone learn and complete. Maybe its my phone but i couldnt get any audio. But looks great and done quickly. Kudos to you.

    San tee on back is wrong... But like others have said it will work
    Like the end of the line c/o
    Instead of the glue p trap, I would use a trap that can be removed and cleaned out as well

    I don't know how the law is where he's doing that, but here in NY he has to leave at least a 1" gap between the bottom of the sink drain and the drain lines, usually with a 2" cup, that is done in case of a back up so the sewage doesn't back up into the sink and contaminate any pots and dishes that may be in there

      Nick Austine yes that an air break, but in a dish sink? Are you sure? Seems very extreme , also water would be spelling out that funnel of your all the time, very unpractical , even with a back flow .... these dishes are going to be washed after anyway!! You probably thinking of a food tray or ice sink.

    How about a little play by play? Maybe a description of sizing used. Many of us on youtube aren't pros and need a little bit of "hand holding" to get us thru. Thanks

    THE HANDLES ON THE DRAINS MAKES ME THINK THIS IS A COMMERCIAL APPLICATION. WHY IS THERE A TRAP ABOVE GROUND. WHAT TYPE OF APPLICATION IS THE SINK INSTALLED IN?

    • @LoadMaster
      @LoadMaster  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Commercial. Trap is before going into the large grease trap in floor. Above ground trap keeps the grease trap gases from coming up.

    With everything glued how do you service one of the valves ?

    • @dangda-ww7de
      @dangda-ww7de 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      YOU cant, i would of put the removable trap in instead of that glue one.

      A screw on firnco at the o trap would have been a good idea too. Or a p trap with a clean out removable base to clean out if needed

    If you used PVC glue and primer it wouldnt be leaking in the first place...

    Is that CPVC Glue you are using?

  • @jorgebellido380
    @jorgebellido380 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    All you need is the pcv glue to hold everything in place? you dont need the screw ends to tighten on each connection?

    IPC regulations require floor drain and air gaps

    • @LoadMaster
      @LoadMaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has a large in floor grease trap.

    • @ironbear8469
      @ironbear8469 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LoadMaster so it’s double trapped. The grease interceptor can serve as a trap to 3 or less compartment sinks

  • @Texasmade76
    @Texasmade76 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's an indirect waste why would you pur a ptrap????

    • @artdeco5464
      @artdeco5464 ปีที่แล้ว

      read the comment above.... the ptrap blocks the grease trap gasses...

    • @Texasmade76
      @Texasmade76 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Art Deco but if it's an indirect waste, another words there should be a floor sink, how would gasses come back up

    • @artdeco5464
      @artdeco5464 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Texasmade76 Have you ever smelled a grease trap when the service comes to clean it? It is incredibly gross and can actually be worse than sewer gas. Without the trap on the sink, that smell will make it's way back to the sink drains.
