Can’t wait to see you do proper wheelies after it’s broken in. 😊
You and me both!
I have a short clip posted on my channel showing what this bike can do with DWC off😊 I didn’t like how the 698 felt at first til I found balance point. Incredibly smooth fun bike to ride .
I will check it out. I took all mine off too and it's pretty impressive. I did take it a bit easy during this vids since I was still breaking the engine in. Absolutely love this bike.
Bike Looks Like A Blast For Sure!! 🤘🏽🏍️
It sure is. I don't regret spending the money.
Just wanted to put my 2 cents in. It’s hard to watch/listen when you stop after 2 words and huff and puff for 30 seconds mid sentence/thought. I came to see what you were going to say about pricing and stuff for the electronic features but I end up skipping 80% of your video because you don’t really get a full sentence out, and never seemed to address what the click bait title says before I gave up. Good luck with the wheelies
Sorry bud. My focus was a bit off on this one.
Looks like you’ve chosen your bike for the season lol.
Yeah, I think this is the bike I'll be riding this season. It has everything I want in the fun department.
so lame they locked some features.
so you have to pay to completely turn off the wheelie control? or do you pay to simply adjust wheelie modes? im confused.
You basically have to upgrade to the Termi exhaust system and their ump to unlock the "beginner" wheelie control setting. Overall, it will run you roughly around $2500. However, if you already know how to wheelie, you don't need it.
a lot of videos are saying that there are already recalls for this bike and leaking engine oil. This is why I am leaning toward the KTM 690, a proven product.
First year are gonna have issues
where did you saw those videos ? I looked all the 698 content and just saw one talking about engine oil. The rest is a change in the handlebar clamp.
So far, I haven't had any issues with mine Hypermotard 698 RVE. The bike has been great. I know they had a recall on the first batch and they ended up delaying delivery to make the proper adjustments and fix the issues. My bike was part of the second batch.
How close are you to getting the miles done?
I'm already done with the 620 mile break-in.Once I'm back from MotoGP I take it for the first service. However, I did record and document the entire process so I have several vids in the chamber. I usually upload three a week so it feels longer. thank you for hanging in there and tuning in.
how do you turn wc off? I did not manage to turn it off on my test ride, and on lowest level was too intrusive.
I’ll do a video this weekend showing and explaining how to turn the rider aid off. Kind of a lot to explore lain in a reply.
You have to have ignition on engine off to shut off wc & tcs
Tenho uma
Nice, congratulations.
This is not the bike to learn wheelies … the power band is too violent …. Get a ktm 500 if you arnt friends with the back brake yet
Any particular reason as to why someone should not learn to wheelie with this bike?
