Any tiny residue can clog the syringe plunger. I buy a silicone syringe lubricant which I apply to the rubber plunger seal after each use. I give an oil based med to my cat in very small amounts (.15 ML) and yes the markings disappear and plunger is sticking even though it has been cleaned after each use.. I'm going to find a syringe lube as you suggest. My question is what about the volume of med in the very tip? Even when I administer the prescribed dose, there is quite a bit of med left in the very tip. I appreciate your comment to this and any insight you might have.

How many day can we store medicine in syringe
Who else is here trying to figure out if their liquid benzo solution can actually be dropped on tablets accurately? I have pez and sweet tarts.
If we're required 2ml of a medicine Wouldn't any oral syringe be fine to use if we only oull to 2ml
