Contemplative Vision: Presentation Two, Thomas Keating

Presented by Contemplative Outreach, this is the second main talk in an enrichment weekend by Fr. Richard Rohr and Fr. Thomas Keating, recorded Sept. 29, 2007 in Houston, TX.
Fr. Thomas explains how the transformative experience is fed by our desire and longing to become Christ. We carry this into the spiritual journey where we deal with our energy centers of security, affection, control, over-identification with one’s group, and afflictive emotions. The human condition will always be there, but there will also be the divine indwelling and healing of the wounds of a lifetime, moving us in confidence into the infinite mercy of God.
