    Taz should join brodcast.
    He is always such a pleasure to watch and his english is good enough.
    He would make an excelent analyst.

      hell yeah, the first pro CS game i watched was them losing to Ast in 2017... that was wild, but i had no idea what that game meant within the long-term meta of the teams and game. looking back, they're the reason i bought a VP hoodie

    What sets all these older/og players from the new are their personalities. I feel like each team had some flare back in the day and now you only see a few personalities really shine in the scene.

    If they don't get Taz on broadcast for the last Major it'd be a huge wasted opportunity. He has charisma, knowledge, and a deep connection to the game, what else could you ask for.

      i feel like the last major should have a lot of guest appearances from legends of CSGO. it would be a missed opportunity, i feel like blast will defo do something good.

      It was kinda sad the way he explains that the younger players just think he's bad and outdated because he's old. I feel like a lot of older players also feel the same about this and it must pretty sad for them.

  • @ImYourBias

    Reflexes and such don't drop off enough in your 30s to warrant an immediate write-off. We've seen it countless times that you don't build championship teams off aim duels and technical skills alone--that's for specialty and clutch moments where you also need stability and nerve. It's the balance between experience and staying up-to-date that makes the best players, and I don't even think it's the latter that kills great players' careers. I think it's the haze that comes after your decade+ playing the game that someone younger can have if they've played just as long. The game has matured to the point where the baseline skill is higher, so I think that's where younger players looking better muddles the reasoning, making older players look outdated and outmatched, mostly by perception.

    1:02:55 But people always say that the pros from today are mechanically leagues ahead of older pro players. This means that doing it this way, grinding Faceit bla bla, produces better playerd than actually having a life so in theory this would be optimal if you want to become s1mple

    Hunden is the Problem. What has he brought to the team but controversy? Arguebly the team has been worse since he has been on the coaching/analyst position, while Heroic has remained at the top, improving even.

    • @bethdeva
      @bethdeva ปีที่แล้ว +1

      as much as i dislike hunden, i think its more of a problem with how they play. as good as an igl gla1ve was, alot of his mid rounds now days are quite questionable. i dont know if he should be replaced or just take an alternative approach but something should change. other than that, their mentality seems to be very fragile. i believe their former mental coach, from the major winning days, got sniped by vitality along with the others, though i could be wrong.

    • @MidheimOfficial
      @MidheimOfficial ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bethdeva You are right. They do look like a fragile team in general, especially opposed to the old astralis, a team that was always strong no matter how big the disatvantage.

    Why Do They Bully Astralis Every Time?

    • @Hoichael
      @Hoichael ปีที่แล้ว +5

      because the Astralis management is fucked in the head and consistently ruins everything for everyone. Players need to be aware that signing with Astralis means spoon-feeding bleach to their careers.

    need competioions by age separation. like 15-20, 20-25, 25-30, 35+

    • @Dainis_M
      @Dainis_M ปีที่แล้ว

      teamates must be +/- in the same age, average people from team age.

    • @MidheimOfficial
      @MidheimOfficial ปีที่แล้ว +5

      In my opinion the scene is already pretty seperated: by gender and by regions, by tiers and by matchmaking platforms. Further seperation does not seem like a good idea to me.
      Although a "Veterans Event" might be very cool.

    • @OriginalRaveParty
      @OriginalRaveParty ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a world in which I could see a youth, main and senior league. The main male league will always have the most viewers unless something massively changes, because it's the pinnacle of competition.

    • @MidheimOfficial
      @MidheimOfficial ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OriginalRaveParty Considering there is an Academy circuit this is already kind of the case i guess. Academy teams at weplay had an age restriction.
      I could see it, but it should not interfere with the semi open circuit we have right now. I am not a big fan of these leagues because there will be less open qualifiers and less chances for new teams and stacks to get into competition.
      I think less seperation of players will lead to a more competetive environment with more chances to make a name and reach the top levels. When you are restricted to certain leagues these chances decline, i think.

    • @spawnnpwn4166
      @spawnnpwn4166 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah... The fanbase isn't that huge to actually care about age separation. Plus why would anyone not want to see rain frag against newbies? Stupid suggestion
