Use a c clamp and old pad to push in caliper piston. Moreover, always use jack stands in addition to Jack and wear steel toe boots. Also, always lubricate caliper pins and don't let caliper hang by it's brake hose.
Scotty C or you could use your original car jack that come with your car and old brake pad to put the piston back inside. It work for me.... What engine do you have on your Liana/Aerio? Mine use M16A engine on my hatch back.
@@walijumaat2158 I also stick the wheel flat on its side and stick it under nnext to the jack... good practice if you're stuck on roadside with no stands
Have u done Aero Suzuki so replace rotor. I have same car need to replace. Can u help or have done a video. Good video by the way helpful. Please shoot the video on other side on pad to see what nuts u are remove. So clear to someone not so good at this like me

@@redshirt-scotty can u just take the pics or video what nuts u removed cause could not see from backside of brakes whether u received the nuts. And also how to remove rotar
Do you know if the aerio is supposed to have brake rotor retaining screws? I have a 2005 aerio & trying to determine if the are needed or not. I cannot seem to find a part number. Thanks.
www.suzukiautomotiveparts.com/v-2005-suzuki-aerio--sx--2-3l-l4-gas/brakes--front-brakes give that parts diagram a look. i don't see your screw there but it's your call. i do see a wheel stud that i need though. part #3
not as easy as the front pad by far. i haven't had to work on mine. here is a link to a procedure with a parts diagram: www.autozone.com/repairguides/Suzuki-Aerio-Verona-2002-06/Rear-Drum-Brakes/Brake-Drums/_/P-0996b43f80379d9d hope that helps.
Awesome video took me no time to change the pads very well explained and that spanner and pliers trick proper saved me as my piston was seized 👍

Scotty C did removing the metal retainers reduce brake noise?
sqeaks with or without. no noise reduction without the little backing plates
