      Nice comparison. Just bought a pressure washer and cannon, along w the CG honeydew. What type of pressure washer do you have, and is your cannon cranked up to max foam? I have a 1700/1.2 electric and with the knob at max foam, I emptied the bottle just before finishing the car surprisingly. I did a 5:1 ratio which produced good foam, but was probably too much product. Thanks for the 2.5oz tip!

      @BobbyDeez  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KenVic02 I use a 2000/1.75 electric, so not too much more than what you have. And always have to keep it at the max foam setting, otherwise, its not as satisfying haha
      Yeah if you're using a normal sized cannon bottle, a 5:1 is pretty high since that 2.5 oz is about 10ish:1. So no wonder you ran out so quickly lol, but I'm sure it was super sudsy!

      @@BobbyDeez I use the tool daily foam cannon with 1.1mm orifice, I use warm distilled water and about 3 oz of snow foam for almost 2L capacity bottle and it works excellent

    can these be used with just water, a rag and a pail of water, or does that defeat the purpose?

    • @BobbyDeez
      @BobbyDeez  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer the foam cannon just because it makes washing more fun and slightly quicker...But, you can absolutely use either of these products with just that (using roughly 3-5oz of the product in 4-5 gal of water). Though 2 pails, or buckets, is better. That way you can rinse in one and have the washing agent in another without contaminating it. I go through the steps for that in one of my first videos I ever did here, starting at 10:20, if you'd like to see that process! th-cam.com/video/2p-h0snqivA/w-d-xo.html
      I hope this helps!!!

    Hey! Have tou ever used the citrus and gloss? if yes, is it better than the honey dew? And do you know the difference between Nonsense and all clean+?
    thanks!

    • @BobbyDeez
      @BobbyDeez  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not used that wash from them so I can’t say whether or not it works better than honeydew.
      As far as the difference between the 2 cleaners, the main difference is in the formula. Everything is the same within it with the exception of adding in sodium hydroxide and dialing back the amount of sodium metasilicate in the All Clean+. To get a little nerdy with it, sodium hydroxide is a corrosive substance, but the amount used should be extremely harmless but my guess is enough to help break down contaminates more easily. The metasilicate is essentially a booster in cleaning performance. I hope that answers your question!

    What PSI does your pressure washer do? Also what gallons per minute? I use the snow foam but am struggling to get foam like yours

    • @BobbyDeez
      @BobbyDeez  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use one that is rated at 2030PSI and 1.76GPM. The other thing to check would be on the foam cannon itself. What type are you using?

    I thought that Mr Pink was PH Neutral so that it doesn’t strip coatings. Let me know if you found something different before I continue to use Mr Pink as my weekly soap.

    • @BobbyDeez
      @BobbyDeez  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      After looking at the MSDS on Mr. Pink, it has a PH of ~7.5, so basically right at neutral. It just gives a different "clean feel" to the paint compared to Snow Foam

    • @BobbyDeez
      @BobbyDeez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you’ll be good to use it as a weekly wash (in the description on their site, it states “Maintain your ride with a gentle, weekly wash.” So keep it up and congrats on the new car!

      @@benciha389 I'd look into optimum no rinse with carnuba. It's so easy to use and probably even safer for the paint. I detail professionally and most of the time use the optimum no rinse. It's also much more effective as pre wash compared to foam.
