  • FULL PRODUCT LINE. CHEMICAL GUYS SNOW FOAM Test And Battle. Chemical Guys best snow foam put to the test. I test Chemical Guys Max Suds 2, Chemical Guys Mr Pink, Chemical Guys Honeydew, Chemical Guys Blueberry Snow Foam and Chemical Guys Sticky Snowball Ultra Snow Foam Car Wash. These are the best car wash shampoo that Chemical Guys has to offer. Leave a comment below with your opinion on these snow foam shampoos. I am always curious what you think and happy to answer any questions you may have. I enjoy these snow battles and have a few more planned. Thanks for watching. Here is my thoughts. CG Honeydew is the winner IMO. Its economical, provides good slickness on the paint, Cleans well, Smells good and is overall a good product. Its not my favorite snow foam I own but takes the win in this challenge as Chemical Guys best Snow Foam.

    This highlights my biggest gripe with Chemical Guys, they have so many products that all do the same thing all it does is add confusion and I usually give up and look elsewhere to someone who only does the one product in the notion that they have put their all into this.

      Its part of their marketing. They make a few different scents so you have options. But they tack on things like thick foam or gloss enhancer so if you want something specific you know this one has it. Even though they all have it. They cater to the people who don't know better nor can be bothered doing a little research. I have a many friends who will buy based on what the boxes says rather than look at a review as sad as that sounds.

    I have used many snow foams throughout years, from CG Honeydew (1st and 2nd) versions to CG Mr. Pink. The best is still Adam's Mega Foam. I only put 1oz with 24oz of warm water with my MTM PF-22 using a 4000 psi/4gpm gasoline pressure washer. Foams crazy and cling for a while too.

    With the way I use my foam cannon, cost is a major factor because I use a lot of soap. Everyone has their own method of maintenance washing. I wash once a week where I foam and rinse twice with hand agitation on the second pass - I don't use buckets. I also do extra passes on the rear and lower panels of my mid-size SUV. All I need is soap with good foam. I don't need the thickest foam. I use CG's Honeydew with my Griot's Boss foam cannon where I meter the undiluted soap. With this method, there's no need for me to stop and mix up a second batch of soap because of the amount of soap I use. I just keep going without stopping.

    ALTHOUGH - I'm 100% positive they changed the smell at some point. I called CG and they say they didn't (which is frustrating as even their website describes the scent differently than it did 3 years ago,) but I'll tell you right now they did. I have 1 gallon that smells like candy (which is the one I love) and the most recent gallon smells like bubblegum. My wife even agrees - very different smells. So if yours is from the last 2 years, then you prob have the 'updated' smell.

    Hey man I would love a comparison of the same shampoos and some more of the competition but in a worst case scenario competiton, mixing first 2 oz in a liter and then 1.5 oz in a liter and then 1 oz in a liter. That way seeing which ones fall off first and which ones remain to the finalies. IDK juns an idea to see which is the most concentrated in terms of foam generation. Maybe there can be a bonus round diluting only 0.5oz in a liter if there is any other soap that remains alive. Love from Venezuela man, love the channel. • @BigBear--
    @BigBear-- 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Personally I care about the performance of the product more so than scents and "foam". I don't want any gloss enhancers or other crap in their that will leave any residue or "protection". To be honest it seems like most shampoos that produce mega levels of foam actually do a worse job of removing dirt. You want the soap to make contact with any dirt grime on the paint, surround the particle and remove it. If the foam is so thick it just sits on top of itself, its not making any contact with the surface, there's also not enough water content to pull the dirt off/down.
    I still use some foamier products just for fun or daily washes, but to be honest some of the best cleaning shampoos I've ever used come from the Bilt Hamber lineup. They don't do gimmicks, just professional quality results. I highly recommend you try it. However I'm usually weary of recommending it too much as only one place imports the stuff from the UK, which is The Clean Garage, and I don't want them selling out so I don't have access...lol!

    • @johnnynapalm4180
      @johnnynapalm4180 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Big Bear I'm in the same boat but I think the popularity of a PH balanced shampoo is why we are getting dozen's of different brands that are trying to outdo each other on the foaming. Meguiars put out a product, it was Car wash plus but never really sold, did a phenomenal job of removing dirt and grime although I think it wasn't ph balanced. I personally like Ultimate wash and wax from the cannon and I've used many brands including this one (sticky snowball). Jay Leno's got some good stuff too! It's all about the price point. Personal use vs Car detailing business.

    Hello, again love your channel could help me on picking a pressure washer for my mobile detailing out of a jeep so room tights, I got a ryobi electric pressure washer. But I want one with a pump on it. Can you recommend one that's not to expensive?

      I don't know of any PW with a built in pump that are good quality. I recommend a bladder for the water and a garden hose pump to supply water to the pressure washer. From there I would go with any of these kits based on your budget: Let me know if you have any questions

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Here is an enzyme remover that should remove any smell that is embedded in the carpet. The only thing that may prevent this from being successful is if it it soaked so deep in the carpet that you are unable to effectively reach it with chemicals or the extractor. Hope that helps.

    I don’t understand the point of this video. Is it to judge the amount of suds they produce? Because that seems pretty pointless. This needs to be done on dirty vehicles.

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most soaps will do an adequate job with a contact wash. A scientific video like that would be very hard to show any worth while differences. What I can say is I prefer a slick to the touch ph neutral soap that foams well enough to prolong the dwell time allowing me to make my way around the vehicle without it drying or running off of the paint while I do a contact wash. I also want it to smell nice so that I enjoy the process and if it’s affordable all the better. PH neutral soaps in general are not the best way to attack extra dirty vehicles if your intention is to have the soap do most of the work. Because of all these reasons I test them the way I do. I hope that helps explain my process. And by the way save your money on these and go with a better soap. I have reviewed almost every top brand out there. Thanks for watching

If I do a traditional wash, I will use a shampoo with ceramic and then use my regular shampoo mixed, if the car is coated. Right now I am using Prizm from Malco, cost about $15.00 per gallon.
