Not necessarily. I have two Corgi 2+2s in the process of restoration; one has wire wheels and the other doesn't. FWIW, my first 1:1 car was a '66 Mustang hardtop which came with wire wheel covers and whitewall tires. It was also black. Nice resto, super paint work!
@@teenchy unless it was a factory option,i know of no early '64.5-'73 mustang's that ever had wire wheels! i've not even seen photo's of real cars with them.
