This is a lovely video! I used to live in Florida for 7 months. Florida was my first experience living in another state. I am born and raised in California. I lived at the Championsgate, The Meadows at Championsgate. I’d drive down that road every day when I used to work at Chili’s coming off the 4.
This video is obviously different than how it is now…so many houses now built. Many of those trees are gone. I actually prefer it like how it is in this video.
Seeing this video brought back a lot of memories. Today, I am back in California, but I can say that I’m thankful for my time in Florida.

Davenport has a long way to go. Most kids in the area are not even able to go to the school because of its location in the Osceola County limits. The schools in the area are built to small and location are not well thought out. The four counties can’t see to work together on simple safety hazards many of us face. Half of us don’t even know what to call the area I’ve heard Citrus ridge, four corners, Davenport, and Clermont just to name a few. I hope that one day we can become just one town of our own instead of every county feeding off our taxes and not putting any money back into the community except maybe hiring more police.
